Looking Back At Yr 2009

2009 is coming to an end in less than 2hrs time...

Yup, I din go anywhere for countdown... I was banned from partying/ clubbing mah, remember?! LOL... Okie, tat's a rather lame excuse... Hehe... Anyway, the fear of not able to get a cab still somehow left unwashable footprints on my memory... Hehe... And I truly dun wanna spend so much dollars lah... Honestly, I've been spending lotsa money (on myself especially) this Christmas... I dun wish to spend another hundred bucks or so on partying ah... (Think the entrance fee, the drinks and the cab fare kinda totalled up to hundred bucks or so bah). And seriously, I think countdown doesnt really impact alot on me woh... It's juz another excuse for drunkens/ drinkers to party and dance lor... =)

Oh ya, the recap... Nearly forgot abt the topic... Hehe... Looking back at Yr 2009, what have I been thru?!

The start of Yr 2009 doesnt sound really great to me... I lost a cousin, a sweet young lady... Her sudden passed on was a blow on everyone of us... I know it's been real hard for her parents... Imagine, my tears will juz well up on the tot of her, let alone her parents lah... Bitterly upset... Haiz~~~

Due to bad economy, my company enforced off days (aka unpaid leave aka paycut lah) and common off days... Initially, everyone was complaining all the way, coz of the paycut... Gradually when everyone becomes to look forward to these off days liao, the company began to see some increments and decided to cancel the off days... Complaints flood in again... Hurhur... Humans are juz so hard to please lah... Hehe... (And yes, I'm one of the few who grumbled abt the cancel of off days. Hurhur...)

I utilised more sick leave this year... Think my health is rather poor this year leh... The flu bugs juz kip on knocking on my door and there's no way that I can stop them from dashing in... Haiz~~~

My complaints on work doesnt seem to end... And basically I can juz complain abt everything... On agencies that I handle, on salespersons that I liaise with, on the bosses of these salespersons... Hahaha... Ya ya ya, I know I complain too much and too hard, but this is one of my way to kinda vent my fustrations lah... So juz bear with me lah... Hehe...

I got my promotion and a little pay increment as well... Not much lah... Think of the bad economy, you think pay increment would be huge meh? Juz be glad that there's pay increment liao lor...

There was my Taiwan trip oso... Only 1 overseas trip this yr (JB not counted lah!)... Kinda sad... I worked like a cow and I only got 1 overseas reward trip for myself... Haiz~~~

And there was my new idol - 黃騰浩 as well... Oh, I juz love him so much in 光阴的故事... Totally heart him... And he 害 me cried so much in 紫玫瑰 lor... I hope he will star in more shows in Yr 2010... =D

Cutting down on parties/ clubbings as well... Hey, I really did cut down quite alot liao lor... Come to think of it, my last trip to DLB O was in Oct woh, but I did go to Velvet Underground in Nov to give support to my makeover colleagues... =) Then I went to Zirca in Nov as well for the ChU Party... Oops! It doesnt sound I really cut down hor? But I really did lah...

Lastly (I think), Christmas! I juz kip buying and buying gifts for myself... Wahahahha... And yup, I FINALLY change a new mobile phone liao... I've been telling everyone tat I wanna change a new mobile phone for a yr liao... And finally did so a yr later... Hahahha...

What do I hope for in Yr 2010? Ermz, better health and better wealth... And hopefully, more overseas trip lor... And everything smooth smooth for work lor, though kinda hard...

Met up with a fren recently... It's been quite some times since I last saw her... She's still the same - bubbly and cheerful as ever... Juz hope that her health is better liao... =)

Anyway, she told me a few short stories which I find it quite amusing especially when these stories actually revolved abt Singaporeans... Yup, Singaporeans typical behavior when travelling on Singapore Airlines.. Okie, I muz say that for business purposes, my fren often nid to travel ard the world... And she only like to take Singapore Airlines (SQ) flight...

She told me that she once sat besides a couple... Nothing really special abt this couple actually... Aint really big shot or what... But her behavior simply turned my fren off... The stewardess was pushing the bar trolley/ cart when this woman asked the stewardess for a glass of STRAWBERRY MILK!! And the best part is when the stewardess replied that they only had fresh milk, this woman turned to her mate and whined: Dear, they dun have strawberry milk ler... I really wanna slap my forehead when I heard this lor...

Hello Auntie, it's a plane you travelling lor, it's a SQ plane lor... It's not a supermart plane you are travelling lor... SQ doesnt equal to Cold Storage, Carrefour, NTUC, Shop n Save, Giant or whatsoever supermart lor... SQ is not ur Doreamon lor... It's not what you want and you can get it lor... (That's the slogan for 7-11, not SQ) And come to think of it, I believe all fastfood outlets oso dun serve flavored milk lor... I pity the poor stewardess serving you woh!!

That's not all woh... Can you imagine ppl asking for homemade soya bean milk on plane and show that disappointment face when the steward/ stewardess replied that they dun have on board? Hello ppl, you want homemade, pls stay at home and made urself lah... What for to travel on a plane then? Homemade dun have lah, plane made you want anot?

Yup yup, my service attitude is damn bad, I know.. And yes, I know what you want to say: We paid so much money to travel on SQ. They shld mit our expectations... They shld give us what we want and provide the service that we want. Here's what I wanna say: Ppl, I know you pay more money travelling on SQ. Service wise, if you are nice and polite to that person, the steward/ stewardess will be nice and sweet to you as well lor... C'mon, they are oso like you and me lor, trying to work hard for a living, why make life difficult for them leh? And yes, they shld mit our expectations but your expectations include serving strawberry milk and homemade soya bean milk ah? Shldn't ur expectations focus on the safety and the comfortability meh?

Wah say! Since when I become the ambassador of SQ leh? LOL...

Another Christmas Gift... For Myself...

Yes, I know Christmas is over liao but hey, there's 12days of Christmas lor... And the Christmas spirit at Orchard is still lingering ard lor... See the decors over there and you'll know lor...

You are damn rite! It's juz another damn silly excuse to buy a gift for myself!! LOL!!! I bought yet another gift for myself... Wheet!!! I think I love myself deeper and deeper liao... Hurhur... (Bo bian lah... When there's no one showering you with gifts, you gotta shower yourself lor... Oh boy, sounds so sad... And rich... Wahahhaha...)

Before I made the payment, I saw this Juicy Couture watch... I swear I REALLY LOVE THAT WATCH!! But but but it's too expensive lah... Hello this watch is 159bucks while that watch is 350bucks lor... Almost double the price of wat I'm buying lor... But it's a real beauty... Aaaawwww... If I din buy a new phone, I will surely buy that watch without any further delay lor...

My Christmas Gifts

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas... =D

Wrapped and gave out most Christmas gifts out on 23Dec, the last day of work for this yr... And yup, I received lotsa Christmas gifts as well... Hurhur... Among these gifts, I received a Pooh, a Eeyore and a Piglet... Thinking whether shld I buy a Tigger leh? Hehehe... Okie, almost 1/4 of the gifts are chocolates... I got at least 4 - 6 mths of chocolate supplies... LOL... Not really a chocoholic person lah.. Tat's why the chocolates can last tat long... Hehe...

And yup, I oso bought Christmas gifts for myself! Wheet!! I saw this Vera Wang Princess series set at Metro Paragon when I went for my Christmas shopping. It's priced at 98bucks which I think is really really a steal lor... I bought the 100ml sometimes this yr at 90bucks liao... And now it comes in a set of 3 at 98! Cheap rite? Wanna buy another set when I went Metro Causeway Pt but the sales assistant there said they dun carry Vera Wang... Aaawwww.... So Sad...

Next, I bought myself yet another gift on Christmas Eve... Hurhur... A new phone!! Yup, finally, a new phone! I've been using my SE 700 for 3 yrs ( I think)... I still love my SE 700 especially the camera... Hey, it's a cybershot series lor... The fotos taken are super clear and super nice... Was deciding between SE Aino and iPhone... In the end, I choose the latter, coz it's cheaper... I dunno why Aino is more exp lor... Still trying to adapt to my new phone... I think I will feel quite lost abt the camera part... Haiz~~

Ya ya ya, I know can download apps to enhance the camera thingy... But need $$ lor...

The sickness continues...

And so the sickness continues but i'm back to work today after a day of MC yesterday...

Honestly, I did feel slightly better... My throat aint tat dry as compared to previous days but still dry lor... I still feel the pain when swallowing my saliva...

The cough still persists... And somehow I did feel kinda worse, especially when the 'weng-ing' in my left ear become worse. And to top thingy up, out of my 10 phlegm, 4 are with traces of blood... And sometimes when I blow my nose, traces of blood are oso found... With conditions like these, is my flu turning for the better or for the worse? I dunno... Gotta wait till the 7days medication end... Coz the doctor did say tat if my condition din improve especially the ear part, I gotta go back and see him again...

Oh, I hate it this way! This is the worst flu tat i caught!! Argh!!

Flu Bug Caught Me Again...

Yes baby, I'm sick again... On a day MC today again...

Think I run too slow that why's the flu bug kip on bugging me... =( Was reading thru my past entries... The 4th time this yr tat I caught the flu bug liao... Tsk tsk tsk... Think I really gone weaker liao... Wat's wrong this time round? Same lah - Sore throat, runny nose, cough... But the throat part is worse than before... Throat infection. And this throat infection resulted in ear infection as well... Wow! I really got no idea tat infections can spread...

Wasnt feeling too good on Thur liao.. Tat's when my voice started to hoarse... Then the not-so-good feeling continued on Friday as well... I still went for my Christmas shopping though.. But went home almost empty-handed... There's simply nothing much to buy at PS leh... And the DIY stuff at Spotlights are so not at DIY prices... Tsk tsk tsk...

Despite feeling unwell, I still went to the zoo... Hey, I nan de balloted successfully for the passes woh... How can I simply juz missed out leh? But really, it might be this trip tat worsened my throat... The weather is great, but maybe too great for me... My throat was feeling dry all the way... It's so bad that even when i tried to swallow my saliva, it simply hurt...

Finally i went to see a doc yest... Reached the clinc at 10sth... Was planning to do a little Christmas shopping after seeing the doc actually... Tot there shld be a queue and i had to wait till 11sth to manage to see a doc, and that's oso the time where most shops are opened liao... But my calculation went wrong when I saw the clinic was empty... Ermz, where are all those ppl ah? Within 5mins upon my arrival, i managed to see the doc liao... The usual line - Drink more water... Haiz~~~ Yes, yes, yes... I'll drink more water...

A day mc today... The throat continues to hurt... Haiz~~~

Christmas Shopping!!

An early post ya... Hurhur... Beats me why I wake up so early today... LOL

Christmas is juz round the corner liao... Have already drafted out my Christmas shopping list and in fact, bought some of the Christmas gifts liao... Seriously, I really gotta start wrapping these gifts liao... But but but... Lazy lah... LOL... And I think my wrapping papers aint enuff...

And I dunno wat to get for the guys!! Argh!!! I gave them body spray last yr liao... Not possible to give them the same thingy this yr bah... Really think that they are 臭男生 meh? Hurhur... Heng heng, I still got some time to hunt the gifts...

Ermz, today's plan is to shop for more Christmas gifts!!! But not so early lah... Shops not opened yet leh... Hurhur...
