BBQ.Play.Burnt

Here's what i did over the past weekend...

Balloted the company chalet at Downtown East 2 mths ago. And heng heng, I'm one of the lucky fellas. =) It's a 4D3N stay but i only stayed for juz 1 nite. =p My aunt also got the chalet on exactly the same date as mine, but we are located at diff blocks. (Mine is Block A and hers is Block B). Hers room seem kinda smaller as compared to mine. Hehe.. That's what everybody said lah.

i went down on Fri but din stay overnight. Had the 1st BBQ session at her place. I think my aunt nv expected so many ppl to turn up bah, coz there's not much food to bbq lor. The bee hoon, the curry, the chicken wings are simply not enuff. Those latecomers dun hv bee hoon, curry and chicken wings to eat lor. I can only say: TOO BAD!! =p

BBQ session was transferred to my place on Sat. =) Mom and I prepared more food as compared to the previous day.. Enoki bacon, chicken wings, sausages, hotdogs, crabsticks, sweet potatoes, corns, jelly (for desserts)... Hv cooked more fried bee hoon and curry as well. 250sticks of satay bought. Uncle Gee oso bought prawns, fish, stingray and even crabs to BBQ. Hehe.. We nv BBQ the crabs in the end... Dun ask me why, coz I oso dunno... LOL~~ More food than previous day definitely. The weather wasnt so promising initially. Rain droplets were falling when we trying to start the fire. In the end, we used the umbrellas to shelter the food instead of ourselves! But 天公 still dote us de! Coz the rain eventually stopped. =) Enuff food for everyone but due to overwhelming response, the fried bee hoon are gone within 2hrs! Lacan and his gf arrived late and of coz, they missed out the bee hoon. But lucky for them lah, we still got other BBQ food left.. Hehe...

Uncle Gee is our main chef for both nites. He's the one who does most of the BBQ-ing. Uncle Ching is the 2nd chef. =) Fergus and Cris helped to BBQ also but not much. Lucky got them ard lor, coz i can juz wait for the food to be cooked, then tucked in. LOL~~

We got free tix to Wild Wild Wet for renting the chalet... So on Sun, Mom, Fergus, Cris and I decided to go Wild Wild Wet to explore... Mom's first visit to Wild Wild Wet, and we can tell that she's quite nervous.. The nervous feelings faded off and soon enuff she's enjoying herself much! =D So fun it was! We played for 2.5hrs, I think. Forgot all abt applying sunblock. =(( The sun was not really shining that mercilessly at us but the 4 of us are still burnt lor. Dark, red, pain. OUCH! But fun. We still got some tix left and hv decided to head back this Sun. Hurhur~~ And this time round, we are prepared! I think.

FIFA World Cup 2010

Those who know me will know that I dun play/ like/ watch any sports. Be it golf, table tennis, tennis, badminton or whatever, I simply dun watch and dun understand their rules and regulations. Okie lah, the only sport that I'm interested to watch is swimming lah. The rest hor, thanks but no thanks lah..

So I actually surprised myself, my parents and frenz that I actually stayed up to watch the whole match last nite, which commenced at 0230hrs. Though Ms Chia keep commenting my eyes look tired and how tired I am, I still survived the whole match lor... Wahahahha..

Both Ms Chia and Ms Hui root for Germany. I think hor, almost everyone is rooting for Germany lor... Hurhur... Everyone cheers when Germany score a goal and sign when Uruguay score... Hurhur... Actually I dun support any particular team. And after the 2nd goal which is ard 50mins sth (i think), I actually can go home an sleep liao coz I only bet on 1 goal lah... LOL~~

It's a brand new experience for me. Not exactly pleasant experience but aint that bad as well lah... =)

Tonite is the final match - a match between Holland and Spain. Hmm... a match between Paul the octopus and Mani the parrot as well... Hurhur... The octopus = Spain and the parrot = Holland lah... So tmr morning we'll know whether do we get to eat grilled octopus or do we get to eat roasted parrot... LOL~~ Ermz, I hope the parrot wins lah... Not really bcoz of Holland but bcoz the parrot already loses the match when he pick Uruguay as the 3rd place winner. Another reason is bcoz the parrot nationality is Singapore lah... Hurhur... =p

Juz to Update

Went party again... Hurhur... In celebration of Boss Ee's birthday... Wow! Lotsa ppl turned up woh... Everyone is dying to get him drunk woh... Muahaha...

Before tat, went dinner with my boss, Ms Puck and Ms Thong... 老板请客! But think the dinner is kinda expensive lor... $166 plus for dinner for 4 at Sun with Moon... Tsk tsk tsk... Think I ought to pay him back abit... Bought a birthday cake as well... Think the birthday cake is kinda expensive lor... $48!!! Kaoz! Think it's the first time in my life tat I ate such expensive cake lor... Hahaha..

On a side note, thingy started to get a little complicated... Dun really wanna explain in details lah... Hehe...

Birthday Celebration

Yes, my birthday is coming soon... So my super nice colleagues specially arranged for a Pre-Birthday Celebration for me last nite... =)

We kicked off for dinner first. Met up with Ms Wu and Quek for dinner at Raffles City... Both of them were late lor... Tsk tsk tsk... Cant really decide wat to eat... In the end, we ended up at Lulu Restaurant (think it's the sister company of Street Cafe lah coz they shared the same beverage menu)... Ms Wu kip saying, kip emphasizing tat Lulu is her good fren lor... Cant tahan her lah... She wore so demure last nite, which was really very unlike her lor... Hahaha... Dinner was okie lah... It doesnt really taste tat fantastic, does it?! Or maybe I was pretty worried on wat they gonna do?! Haha...

We shopped ard Raffles City coz kinda early lah before heading off to Dbl O... The 3 of us were the earliest there lor... Mr Ee came shortly after... Then Ms Tham came with 3 of her frenz... Her first time joining us... Hurhur... But she's okie lah... She can easily mixed ard with us lor coz she's ultra friendly lor... Hehe... Quite surprisingly, Old Man Chan oso came... Haha... Well, he had cut down on his partying times with us mah, so how would I know he would turn up woh... Hehe...

I nearly wanna faint lor when I heard wat Ms Tham ordered lor... 20 shots of Tequila neat! Wah liew! Juz started only, dun nid so high bah! Gluped down 1 shot by 1 shot... Seriously, I really miscount how many shots I gluped down lor... Dun think it's really tat much bah... 10?! More or less bah, really cant recall... Dun worry ppl, cant recall doesnt equal to I'm drunk, okie?! I was kinda high but still sober lor... Hurhur... I still can remember wat happened lor... =p But I admit I got a very bad headache lah... Till now, the headache is still hanging ard lor... Tsk tsk tsk... And like wat every drunken said (though I'm not a drunken last nite), I dun want to touch alcohol again!!! Hahaha... At least not this mth anymore lah... Haha...

It's really very nice of my colleagues to celebrate my birthday with me lor... Yes, I know tat Quek especially told Mr Ee to buy a cake for me... Yes, I know tat Mr Ee especially went to hunt for a mini size cake for me... Yes, I know tat Old Man Chan was damn tired but still dragged himself to come. Yup yup yup, I know I know... I'm really touched, I'm really 感动... =) I kinda felt like I'm celebrating my 18yrs old birthday only... Haha...

However, someone went T4 as well lor - Pilot Huan... Again!!! Tsk tsk tsk... Countless of times tat he fly kite liao lor... Think I shld fire him from being my boss... Haha... Photos are/ will be uploaded in FB by Ms Tham and Quek... =)

Lunar - Asian Fusion Bar

v(^o^)v I went party again last nite... Hehe... Tsk tsk tsk... Think I really abit 走火入魔 recently... Almost every Fri, I've got some nite activities going on lor... Tsk tsk tsk... Cannot like this de... This is so wrong... No good no good... BUT do u think I care?! Wahahaha...

Last nite was at Lunar - Asian Fusion Bar at Clarke Quay... My first visit there... Boss Ee and Ah Foo were there at 9 liao lor... Then Ms Wu reached at 10 sth, while I stepped out of my hse at only 10.50pm... Hehe... I reached there ard 11.15pm... Not too late bah hur?!

Heard tat the bar is quite Chee Na... Hehe... But surprisingly, last nite was actually quite fun lah... It's not really tat Chee Na lah... True, there's Chinese songs lah... But not those CDs played one lah... Got singers sang one... Then when the singers take a 5 (make it a 30 bah... Hehe), they will play those mambo nites songs... Hehehe... I LOVE those songs... Not as bad as I tot lah... =) As usual, Boss Ee is the most entertaining one lor... The one with all the craps... 他是那种很容易自high 的人lor... LOL... Cant reveal much on wat he do unless 當事人願意讓我說啦... =) And yes, I'm not called the Paparazzi for nothing hor... Wahahaha!!!

Anyway, besides Pilot Huan, this time round we oso got Stewardess Quek on board lor... Wahaha... As wat I wrote in the sms, I'm totally surprised at how one will do this much, go all the way to be someone's aunt agnoy lor... If u think last min decision in miting up for lunch, last min decision in taking leave, last min decision in not turning up doesnt mean anything, then I simply got nothing to say liao... *Shrugs* Any explanation is pointless then...

A side note: I almost wanna give up on writing this entry liao lor... I almost wanna cursed out loud! In my heart and my mind, I've been cursing like zillions of times liao lor... I dunno wat's wrong with the login... TMD! Kip displaying the forbidden entry page... Dammit!! Luckily, I'm able to login now... However, part of my 靈感 had dumped me liao lor...

Friday Activity

It almost seems like we need to have to a nite activity every Friday... Hahaha... For the past few weeks, the activities are either chilling out at Holland Village or partying at Double O... So when there's no message or sms sent out to mention abt partying or chilling out, someone felt something amiss... Hahaha... Tsk tsk tsk... Quek, better tell ur boss tat he cannot like this de... Haha...

Okie, my very initial plan was to rot at home... Haha... Paiseh lah, I took leave not because I wanna go anywhere or run any errands... I took leave coz I need to clear leave lah... So wat's wrong with taking leave to rot at home then?! Hehe... Anyway, Ms Puck disrupted my plan lor... She smsed me at 9.47am asking me whether am I on leave anot coz she din saw me online... I swear I really ABC XYZ lor, thinking who dare to sms me so early in the morning... Hahaha...

Unwillingly, I picked up my phone and replied her sms... She asked whether wanna mit up for dinner anot... I'm okie since I've really got no plans lor... =) So we arranged for a dinner at Raffles City... Ms Thong came along as well... Seriously, I din know Ms Thong is a joker as well lor... So really never judge a book by its cover...

During the dinner, I received an sms from Quek... Her boss asked whether got any plans for tonite anot... Her boss oso on leave and had slept the whole day away lor... So he felt really energetic lor... Aiyo, so last min ah?! Asked ard lor and see who wanna come out as well lor... I spent the whole nite smsing people, making calls, etc... Ms Puck and Ms Thong kip suan-ing me lor... I bo-bian lah... I'm a 尽责的秘书 mah... Wahahaha... Me 尽责到my mobile completely flat lor... Haiz~~~ In the end, of coz the movie plan was cancelled... The final conclusion before my mobile dumped me: Partyworld at Liang Court... Haha...

Okie lah... Had quite lotsa fun... Boss Ee is really funny lor... There's a part where Ms Puck sang 神奇, then he and Ah Foo danced the Indian Dance... Hahaha... They refused to let me take any pics... They said I will spolit their reputations lor... Tsk tsk tsk... How can they think this way?! In fact, I can help them BOOST their reputation mah... Hahaha... Think Quek was quite bored coz she refused to sing... She kip saying tat she cannot/ dunno how to sing but I know u can sing one lor...

Old man Chan who din turned up for the ktv session coz he said he dun sing, smsed the guys for drinking session at Boat Quay... So after ktv session, the rest of us except Ms Puck and Ms Thong, headed down to She Bangs for 2nd round... Honestly, was kinda reluctant to go lor coz I was pretty tired liao lah... Hehe... Old man Chan is still as funny as before... Suggested some silly games and ended up kip losing... LOL...

In the end, I reached home ard 5.15am... As usual, my mom woke up to get ready to work... So she sang abit of song to me lah... Then I locked myself in my room, surfed the net for awhile and knocked out at 6... Hahaha... Not as siong as countdown tat day lah...

My Friday Nite

Stayed late for work again last nite... Haiz... I felt like a complete fool... Dammit! Dunno why but thingy juz chunked up on a Friday lor... Yes, everybody was busy miting up for dinners, shopping, gathering, etc.. left only the silly silly me, still buried in my works... Told myself: No more staying back on Fridays!! No more, I certainly hope so...

Chilled out session at Holland V Tango after tat... These ppl never learn to be on time lor... I felt like a complete fool again... 1 person chomping the seats for 7... Honestly, I was telling myself tat if I finished my glass of lychee martini and they still din turn up, I would juz pay for my drinks and my food aka my dinner and took a cab home liao... Mr Ee 'spolit' the whole plan... He came early as well... Haha... So it becomes 2 sillies chomping seats for 7... Seriously, I was thinking to myself: if there's any more chilled out session like this, I wont turn up tat early anymore!! Red wine as usual for me... The wine tat I ordered this time round is smoother... =) Think if I went there again, I would order this again... Haha...

And I'm really pissed at someone's inconsideration/ selfishness/ watever you called tat lah... Juz for him alone, the rest of us would have to slog and crack our brains to do all those changes... Dammit! I wish someone can juz tell him off... I seriously do!!

I'm kinda confused this week... Confused over some feelings... Think I had sorted it out... Hopefully so...

Last entry of this mth... Tomorrow is a brand new month liao... Hope thingy get better... Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I Went Party Again!!!

Laze ard at home these few days... Nuaing at home lah... And seize the opportunity to watch Perfect Cut... I bought the DVDs for quite sometimes liao but din really got the time to watch lah... Hehe... Anyway, I went party again last nite... =) Went Zouk! Mambo nite, and ladies got free entry... Haha...

Actually it's the 2nd time I went Zouk... I really felt lousy when I went there the 1st time... It really sux big time lor!!! The entry fee was ex with 2 glasses of standard drinks... And the music (trance music) really cannot make it lor... Harlow, though i'm a bad dancer, I 更加 dunno how to dance with trance music lor... Thought of changing the location but Mr Ee said he got another group of frenz there and he'll be killed if he changed the location... So we kinda reluctant to go there... Hehe...

Luckily last nite party is more fun... At least there's more drinks and the music are way off better... =) But hor, (I think) I stupidly paid 18bucks for a jug of green tea lor... Kaoz!!! It's damn ex lor... With 18bucks, I think I can buy ard 2 cartons of green tea from the supermart liao lor... By the way, the green tea is the mixer for our bottle of chivas... =) No no no, we dun go there to drink sth without alcohol lor... Wahahaha... It was more fun initially when Quek and I teamed up to coax others to drink lah... But we, ourselves oso did drink alot lor... Think in the end, Mr Huan and Mr Ee are almost gone liao lor... Hahaha... Mr Huan sneaked away halfway lor... He very kns lor, organise the party, then he himself ran away first... Kaoz!!! And this morning, he msg us to tell us he had a great time yesterday and hope to party again soon... Wah liew!! Think he's really very lonely and boring lor... Tsk tsk tsk... Hahaha...

Kinda upset to hear some not-so-good news abt him... Can I juz get myself drunk and delete away whatever I heard?!

Countdown

Like wat I mentioned previously, went for countdown celebration... Ermz, not as fun as I tot lah...

We headed to Dbl O, our fave hangout... Actually we go there bcoz the drinks are cheap lor... Okie lah, the music are oso not bad lah... I've got some of the mp3 in my ipod lah... Haha... Cover charge was damn expensive lor - Ladies $30 and guys $40... Kaoz!! A good time to chop us suckers lor!! No price hike on the drinks lah... Heng ah! Or else everyone will be bleeding liao... Haha...

The place was packed and squeezed with ppl lor... Kaoz!! Was wondering is the air-con spolit or wat... Everyone was prespiring like mad lor... The whole of my back was drenched with my sweat lor... And my make-up was fading off with my constant wiping of my sweat... Really felt like I'm spending money partying in an oven... Kaoz!!!

Let me see, 8 of us went... (Our dear Mr Huan went to Marina Bay lor - fly kite... His dad's car broke down and he gotta celebrated countdown at the expressway... Haha...) Think ard 3 - 5 of us were pretty high lor.. Haha... The one who reached the 'highest' state is (drum rolled)... dear Mr Ee... Muahaha... Think he aint in a good mood anyway... So abit 借酒消愁的感觉... Most of the time his eyes wont opened lor... Haha... And the best part is he will throw whatever that's in his hand lor... We will given a small goody bag with those props for the countdown... He took out whatever is inside and juz threw the paperbags behind him... LOL!!! Then he started to play the popper even before midnight strikes! Haha...

We stayed there till 3plus... Think they did extend their opening hrs but who can tahan to stay in the oven any longer?! In the end, we decided to go somewhere else for 2nd round... But dammit, no cabs available!! Kaoz kaoz kaoz!!! So we walked there lor... And wrong pairs of shoes I'm wearing again... In the end, I decided to barefoot to our destination... Haha... But thanks to Quek, halfway to the destination, she offered to exchange shoes with me... Thanks a lot Quek! =) Anyway, when we reached She Bangs, it was packed with party-goers as well lah... And actually the whole stretch of Boat Quay was packed with party-goers at 4am lor... Sat at She Bangs for like 15mins before we decided to leave for supper or do you called tat breakfast liao?! Haha...

Breakfast was not worth mentioning lah... Think everyone was tired and hungry liao... Haha... After breakfast, we decided to head home! Damn bloody hell tat's the most difficult part lor... Wanted to call cabs, no cabs available... Dammit! In the end, we sat at 1 George St and ard 5.15am, we decided to take MRT instead... Haiz!! So we strolled to the MRT station... How the hell are we supposed to know tat Raffles Place MRT station opened only at 6am?! How the hell are we supposed to know that the 1st NS train is at 6.30am?! Anyway, we aint the only silly bunch of peeps... The field outside Raffles Place MRT station was oso packed with people lor... Haiz~~~ Think the whole lots of ppl are having the same thinkings as us: Not going to town for countdown next year... Haha... But by the time for countdown again, everyone would juz forget abt this whole thingy and started heading to town for countdown again... Muahaha...

And yes peeps, I reached home at ard 7.40am... Finally... Dead tired by then...

Ad Admin Team Building-Cum-BBQ

Yeah!!! The event finally came to an end... After weeks of brain-cracking and whatever, the whole thingy finally 11月30日划下完美的句点!!!

Really tired over this whole thingy lor... Firstly is the cost lor... I almost got into an argument with Ms Wong over the whole thingy... Kinda angry with her lah.. But then after wat Hui told me, my anger was somewhat extinguished by 3/4 liao... Morale of the story: Not everyone can read/ agree with what you do... And it goes the same for others as well...

Secondly is the team-building games... Ya, pissed again... Whatever games I suggested, Quek objected... In the end, I fed up and dun make anymore suggestions liao... Honestly, the games are finalised only on 28Nov lor...

Thirdly, the food... Haiz... Not everyone wanna confirmed their attendances lor... Kinda sianz lor... Harlow, u dun confirmed how u want me to order food? Order too little, later too many ppl and food not enuff... Order too much, later only a few cats came and food overflown... Very hard to decide woh... Haiz...

Surprisingly, everything went quite smoothly... It's really fun and enjoyable... The team-building was real enjoying... Everyone participated enthu-ly... 每个人都很玩得起 lor... =) Fotos are uploaded in facebook liao...

The BBQ... Ermz, thanks to Mr Huan lor... He did come to help start the fire lah... BUT, the fire wasnt really started until ard 8pm lor... Everyone was really hungry by then lor... Think even he, himself is damn hungry lor... But he's really funny lor...

When playing Taboo, he said: 这个可以用比的就好, 不用说的... Haha... My reply: 真的吗? 那你比给我看lor... The first few ones he did manage easier lah... But, u think I will let him off easily? Tat's so unlike me lor... I especially chose 1 of the card and told him to 比 lor... He looked at the card, then looked at me... Struggled for a while, then later tell me: cannot lah... The card tat I chose for him to 比: Lee Kwan Yew... Moments later, I chose another tricky one for him to 比 lor... Tell me how u want to 比 Istana? Muahaha... Yes, I admit! I'm really the evil one!! Muahaha...

Almost everyone left ard 1am sth... At ard 2am, 2 'spirits' wandered in lor - Mr Chan & Ms Ong... Thanks lor! Came at 2am for what huh? To help to clear up ah? Kaoz! Later then I know, coz Ms Ong got into some kinda trouble, tat's why they are late... Anyway, think Mr Chan is really hungry lor... He came, ransacked all the corners for food, gathered them together and started digging in... Haiz... Like hungry ghoist like tat lor... Everybody left at ard 4am... Peace and quiet restored! He oso very funny lor... Bought 1 watermelon and 1 honeydew for us earlier on but I told him earlier on tat I dun have knives to cut liao lor... So I told him: 买西瓜, 密瓜, 然后要我们用头敲啊?

Quek and me lazed ard at the chalet the next day till ard 7.30pm... We got lotsa thingy to pack and clean up lor... Tiring lah...

Everything was ok... Everything except tat I'm not feeling too good lor... Down with flu... I kinda lost my voice... Haiz... Juz yest, I wanted to raise my voice at one of my agencies gal but the moment I shouted, my voice cracked liao... Then I wanted to whisper sth to Quek, but I failed to do so as well... Haiz... Help me lah! (Stop telling me to drink more water lah... I already drank gallons of water liao...)

Out of Topic: I saw him today... And yest as well... Hehe... I was actually telling Hui and Quek tat it seems to be my lucky week last week coz I saw him 4times!!! Muahaha... Hey, I dun get to see him tat often lor... Got once tat I got more than a mth tat I din managed to see him hanging ard lor... So, gotta be happy and 满足了... =)

BBQ Over The Weekend

TVM sales peeps organised BBQ over the weekend... Ms Quek & I turned up at their chalet on Fri... Well, initially they told us tat they wanna go karaoke lor... In the end, makan at a Hongkong cafe in E-Hub!, bought some stuff at NTUC, and set back to the chalet liao... Sighz! Where's my karaoke?!

Fri - a time to unchill for all... They drank beer while I drank white wine... Played games and drank lor... Think I drank quite a fair bit... 3 bottles of white wine... Think I drank most of the white wine lor... Drank until the 3rd one... Hate the taste of the 3rd one... Think there's some 'residue' of beer in the cup as well, tat makes me puke out... After puking, I awake again... But then, I dun drank anymore... Haha... Everyone was real tired lor... But I still sneaked home at 3.30am and reached home ard 4... Was kinda worried tat the door would be locked but Dad had went out to work already... Fun? Yeah... Mr Chan & Mr Ee were really great jokers lor...

Sat - BBQ... Had wanted to buy a bottle of vodka initially... But goes against the idea later on... Hehe... (I really regret tat lor! I shld have bought tat bottle! Damn!) Mr Chan's BBQ chicken wings aint really tat delicious as compared to Ms Quek's BBQ chicken wings lah... Haha... Think I'm the 1st one to comment the chicken wings not nice lor... Haha... We made Enoki Bacon there... :) Mr Ee was kinda surprised on the Golden Mushrooms... His first reaction was "The golden mushrooms for wat huh? U think we got steamboat here ah?" Haha... Anyway, it's a challenge for us to prepare tat dish lor... Coz there's no scissors nor knives around lor... So in the end, 1 of us tore (yes, tore) the golden mushrooms, 1 of us tore the asparagus and another one tore the bacon... Haha... And yes, our hard work paid off when everyone exclaimed tat the food is nice... :) Sat nite aint as fun as previous nite... Think bcoz their boss and the rest of their team around... And the rest of them were actually more interested to watch the Ch8 old movie instead... *Faintz* They only joined us for the games during commercial breaks... *tsk tsk tsk*

Was thinking of organising another chalet... :) But not tat soon lah... Work has drive me crazy recently... I really sincerely hope tat September will really be a better month for me lor...

Sighz... Wasn't supposed to be in Singapore for this week... Had wanna planned for a trip to Taiwan with Ms Quek & Ms Chia... But in the end, Ms Quek went to Taiwan with her cousin... :( Sad... And to make thingy worse, I gotta cover her for the whole of next week... 真的是狠狠地在我伤口上踩两脚啊!!!

TV Party at Dempsey Hill on Friday... 1 of the dunno pub/cafe/restaurant lah... My very first 'party' with these people... Haha... Ya, completely bypass my 1st D&D lor... Can still remember lor: people busy partying, busy drinking, eating, gambling horses, we were busy checking listings, booking in spots... Sighz... 只能说同人不同命啊! The food wasn't really tat impressive... Quite enjoyable lah... And ya, I did like the place where I seated at... Muahaha...

I dun deny the fact tat I like him lor... Dun think it's any disgrace tat I like him lor, so why should I deny leh? Rite? Haha... Juz waiting for the rite/ripe time bah...

Shopping-Cum-Dinner

Met up with Ms Chan & Ms Lim yest for dinner... :) I cant rem the restaurant name for dinner... Anyway, to me, nothing really tat impressive abt the food... I ordered fish and chips and when the food came, the plate was overflowed with fries... Haha...

Had arranged to mit Ms Chan earlier to go shopping... I'm dying to buy some new clothes lor... Hehe... I'm dying to spend my Robinson Vouchers lor... Haha... Had wanted to buy a dress (yes, a dress, not a skirt) initially... Tried on some... Nah... It's either not suitable or too expensive... :( So in the end, I bought only a black skirt at Robinson... Considered quite cheap lah... 29 bucks... And I do hope that I will wear lor... Hehe...

Next stop Dorthy Perkins... Had actually aiming for their demin skirts lor... However, to my horror, there's no demin skirts there at all lor... Wah liew! Wat happened? Anyway, I tried on some dresses and a top as well... The dresses are ok lah... But I love the top... Haha... Ya ya... In the end, I bought the top lor... 59 bucks... Quite expensive lah... *Shrugs*

Oh ya, I oso bought new mascara... Haha... My old one dried up liao.. Think too long never use liao... Muahaha... Ok ok, I'll try to apply the mascara as and when needed lah... Kinda hard leh... Everyone knows tat I seldom apply makeup one lor... Will try lah... :)

Yuki Yaki Dinner

Ms Chia's b-day was round the corner, so the group of us (comprising Ms Hui, Ms Quek, Ms Lee & Me) decided to celebrate for her in advance...

Everyone was cracking brains on where for dinner... And me, suddenly have a crave for Yuki Yaki... Hehe... Well, based on past experiences dinner with them at Yuki Yaki, I did enjoy myself alot lah... Hehe... Glad tat everyone was okay with Yuki Yaki... :)

Was telling Ms Chia to go there earlier coz cannot make reservations lah... Hehe... Everyone was saying tat I very bad lor... Telling the b-day gal to go there early to chomp place... Wah liew! Like tat oso kena scolding... *Shake head* Anyway, before we reached the restaurant, we headed to Secret Recipe to buy a slice of cake for Ms Chia... We are thinking very hard wat she can and will eat lor... Banana cake? No, cannot... Peach? Rejected... Cheese? She dun fancy for tat... White Chocolate Macadamia... Shld be fine bah... Dunno whether she likes nuts anot lah... Aiya, juz buy lah...

Had a heavy dinner... Quite sometimes back since I had heavy dinner liao... Nowadays, I seldom take dinner liao unless going out with frenz or colleagues lah... Everybody was full to the brim liao... But tat's not all for Ms Chia... We presented her the cake and told her tat she muz finish her cake in order to get her gift... Haha... Ms Chia, now u know how I feel, rite? We chit chat all the way while waiting for Ms Chia to finish her cake... Ms Hui, who will be next in queue for b-day treats, was saying tat she wanted ice-cream cake for her b-day... Hehe...

Dear Ms Hui, we'll not forget your 3KG ICE CREAM CAKE... We are nice people... We'll let you choose the ice-cream flavor for your cake... And if you really need, we'll prepare a table and a chair to place at the carpark especially for you and your ice-cream cake... AND dun ever dream tat we'll wipe this memory clean, we'll make sure tat the ice-cream cake will appear rite in front of ya... Haha...

After dinner, thinking of where to go again... Sighz... Nobody wanna suggest lor... Sianz... I suggested the 民歌餐厅... Searched our way to tat 餐厅, only to discover tat the place was packed with lotsa ppl... No place to sit lah, let alone chit-chat... So gotta go for another choice... Somebody but I cant remember who, suggested Fullerton 1 to drink coffee... Wah liew! 11plus at nite, tell me to come out drink kopi? Honestly, I would prefer alcoholic to kopi lor, coz I simply dun drink coffee... Hehe... And the songs at Starbucks, I really can fall asleep lor... Was hoping for some vodka actually but they dun like Post Bar... Ms Quek said the atmosphere kinda quiet and serious...

Sad... No alcoholic drinks... Headed home, feeling kinda unsatisfied...

Chalet Over The Weekends

Oh my god! I'm really dead tired after the chalet... But really happy tat everything 圆满结束 lor... (Warning: This is gonna be a super long entry!)

Was praying real hard while working on Friday... Praying tat nothing urgent, emergency cropped up... The group of us had decided to check in on Friday after work... Ms Lee, our delivery woman, drove us to our destination - Paris Ris Downtown East... Ms Hui, who went for her exams at the Expo will be meeting us there instead... Tot of taking dinner together lor, but our dear Ms Hui, who claimed that she was damn hungry, went to the foodcourt to buy a bowl of laksa! Then wat abt us? Anyway, Ms Chia, Ms Quek & I waited rather impatiently for her to slurp up her bowl of not-so-appetizing laksa... Haha...

Finally checked in at ard 7.10pm... Still gotta wait for Ms Hui (yes, it's her again!) lor... She said she wanted to catch the 7pm show... So wait again lor... Wait until ard 8pm, we finally rushed out... Wanna go to E!Hub lor but none of us know the exact way lor... So we walked 1 big circle lor... And the design of the E!Hub is rather funny lor... Ferris wheel in the shopping mall itself? Think 1 of them asked me "(referring to the ferris wheel) 你在上面可以看到什么?" Me:"上面(shopping mall 里面) 的人lor..." Finally managed to dine in at ard 8.30pm at at Hongkong Cafe... Know what I ordered? Nissin noodles... Kinda silly rite? Spent $6++ to have instant noodles... Sighz... Okie, after dinner, we headed off to NTUC to buy some of our BBQ items and some mixers for our Happy Hour... Finally learnt our way to head back to our quarters without walking 1 big round liao...

Thanks to Ms Chia for bringing the Absolut Pear Absolut Pear Vodka to the chalet... Pear Vodka + Ice cream soda = great drink! The taste is sweet lor but think it's more like a lady drink... However, I really kinda regret to come early for this chalet lor... Nobody allowed me to sleep, not even at 3am lor! Wah kaoz! I was, by then, dead tired liao lor... Ms Hui kip shaking me to tell me to stay awake... Ms Quek wanna tickled me to let me stay awake... None of them really worked lah... However, according to the 3 missies, I immediately woke up when they mentioned tat they wanna went to the Jackpot Room... Muahaha... Honestly, I was feeling rather giddy liao lor... Anyway, we headed to the Jackpot Room... Think Ms Hui changed lotsa $$$ lor... But she did win back the $$$ lah... I oso changed $10 juz to try my luck lor... But lost everything almost in a split second... Sighz... Headed back to our room after Ms Hui claimed her winnings...

Went to the loo to vomit after a while... Well, nothing much came out leh but was feeling realy better liao lor... Became more energetic after tat which kinda freaked them out... Haha... Anyway, 过后, 我们这几个就不知不觉的睡着了... Think when finally all of us entered dreamland, it's ard 5 - 5.30am liao lor...

Dammit! Woke up at ard 8.30am - 9am the following day! Dun ask me why I woke up tat early when I juz managed to enter into my dreamland 3 hrs ago lor... I wont know how to answer tat lor... We made plans on the previous day to have MacDonald breakfast for today... Wasnt feeling really good lor... My head is still spinning lor, especially whenever Ms Hui started to talk... Nothing against u, Ms Hui... It's juz the tone of ur voice bah... Hehe...

We headed to Tampines to continue our BBQ shopping... Still got some items tat are missing from the list leh... Gotta make sure everything is in order mah... We are really behaving like aunties lor, comparing the prices every now and then... Hehe... Bought the necessities and our late lunch... Headed back to the chalet to tuck in to our food before we prepared for the 'show' tonite... Hehe...

Ms Wong & Ms Foo were the 1st 2 who joined us shortly after... Ms Wong wanna prepared salads lah... So she came early lor... At ard 4.30pm - 5pm, the 6 of us started to prepare everything liao... Picked up the BBQ stuff, washed the utensils, washed the BBQ items tat were bought from the supermarket, and most importantly start the fire!

Dear Ms Chia, thanks to you lor! Without you, we really dun nid to eat liao... Haha... Of coz, how can we forget our dear Ms Foo, the cooked items specialist and our dear Ms Quek, the raw items specialist... Haha... The rest of us basically juz sat ard, waiting for them to cook and distribute the food to us... Hehe..

Mdm Tey came later with her hubby and her ever-adorable daughter... Her daughter is juz so very the cute lah... Everyone loves to gather ard her lor... She called herself Snow White and Ms Hui as Little Mermaid... Muahaha... Then later she pointed at Ms Hui's tummy and asked her "What's inside?" Haha... (Her mummy's pregnant lah... Think her parents did told her tat there's a baby inside her mummy's tummy kinda thingy...) Ms Hui told her "Bones..."

Started our Part II of Hapy Hour late at nite... Started our game... 连续输3次就要喝1/3 of the drink... Poor Ms Lee, 看她好像刚喝1/3, 过不久后, 她又连续输3次, 所以又要喝多1/3 lor... Haha... Initially, the group of us tot of finishing the remaining half bottle of the Pear Vodka... However, we're unable to fulfil tat lah coz we ran out of ice-cream soda... None of the remaining drinks matches Pear Vodka leh... So poor Ms Chia, she gotta carried the remaing 1/5 back home... Ms Hui & I decided to head to the Jackpot Room again... This time round, I won $$$ woh... Haha... Changed $20 and managed to win back $30... Haha.. Minus off yest losses, I got profit of $20... Not much lah, but enuff to kip me happy liao... Hehe...

6 of us stayed overnite and squeezed ourselves in 4 tiny beds... Sighz... Resulting in 腰酸背痛 the very following day... It's not I kana lor... Slept at ard 4am (I think) the previous nite and woke up at 8.15am... I really dunno wat's wrong with me lor... Think 我会认床吧... Haha... Woke up so early for wat? Play games lor... Thanks to Ms Quek lor... She brought along her laptop... Though most of the time, the connection is rather weak, it's still played quite an important part to help us kill time... And not to forgetting our dear Ms Hui... She's really amazing lor... From the 小虾米姿势 of 3people sharing 2 beds, she can wriggle her ways to hog 1 single bed... Tat's where her nick came abt lor - 小虾米...

Went to Escape Theme Park ard ard 3.30pm... Nothing much abt the Theme Park leh... 小虾米kip laughing when seated in the Vikings... I joined in the laughter after Ms Quek shouted with her hoarse voice... Muahaha... Then we played a not-so-adverturous rainbow... Went to the Haunted after tat... 小虾米 kip hiding behind Ms Chia lor... So funny lah... Think there's some sound effects which are supposed to scare us... But I particularly think there's 1 silly sound effect which resembles the sound of photocopier machine lor... Wah kaoz... Failed lah, the Haunted! In fact, nothing impresses me at all with this theme park...

Dozed off back at the chalet... The Tv programs really cannot make it lah... Really make ppl fall asleep lor... The 4 of us continued our little chat even after our dinner... Oh yes, we even opened our bottle of sparkling juice to 庆功! Haha... (Actually, the truth is tat the bottle of sparkling juice is heavy lah... Nobody wanna carry back home lor... Hehe...) We finally check out at ard 9.45pm... Hard to get a cab lor... So only managed to reach home at ard 10.30pm... By then, I'm really dead off liao...

Thank goodness it's Public Holiday today... Or else, there'll some pandas at work liao lor... Quite happy and satisfied with this chalet...

Getting Ready!

In the midst of packing up now... Haha... Getting equiped for tomorrow's chalet... And yes, I'm using my brand new bag! Muahaha...

Clothings, toothbrush, toiletries, towel, charger, camera... Wat else have I forgotten huh? Think there's something tat I had simply missed out but I juz cant seem to remember leh... Sighz... Old already lah... So memory failing liao lor... Hehe...

希望明天一切都顺利, 我们能准时离开!

Lunch with Ms Chan

Mit up with Ms Chan yest... Haven mit her for 1 mth liao bah... Well, she's busy with her work and studies mah... Hard to mit up lah... Actually Ms Chan, Ms Lim & I were planning for dinner gathering... However, something cropped up and Ms Lim decided to give our dinner a miss... So Ms Chan & I decided to mit as per normal but to head for lunch instead of dinner... We'll do arrangement for the dinner next time round lor...

Anyway, we headed down to Marina Square to have our lunch... Ms Chan brought me to MOF - Ministry of Food... It's actually a Japanese restaurant... (the link: http://www.ministryoffood.com.sg/) Well, it's my 1st visit there... And the food there was quite good... Especially love their dessert ice-cream... Dunno how to describe tat lah... Head down and try it...

As usual, Ms Chan & I updated each other on our latest move... Told her abt the chalet next week... Wanted to buy a bag so tat I can use for the chalet... Guys, I do understand tat I got lotsa bags... But bags for gals are simply insufficient lor... Hehe... Anyway, I did buy a bag later on... A Nike bag @ ard 80bucks... To me, the price is ok lor... I like the design and the color... Be it Addidas or Nike or watever lah, it's the design and price tat I'm considering into... And I really love tat bag... Hehe...

I told Ms Chan abt him as well... She told me to make the first move, try to have small talk with him... She asked me "其实你喜欢他什么?" Ermz... Actually I oso dunno wat I see in him woh... 说帅, 也不是很帅... 说高, 也不是很高... 说壮, 好像也不是什么猛男... 这是一种感觉吧... 一种不知道该如何形容的感觉... Sighz...

Another Friday Nite

Recently, got lotsa plans for Friday nite... Hehe... Well, personally, I really prefer to go out on a Friday nite lor... Coz can stay out late and dun have to worry abt waking up late the following day lor... Hehe... But of coz, I can oso go out on normal weekdays lah, juz tat I will kip thinking of rushing home early so tat I wont feel tired (bcoz of lack of sleep) the following day...

Anyway, the plan for yest is dinner and karaoke... This plan was proposed by our dear Ms Quek lor... However, she backed out last minute due to 'unforeseen circumstances"... Haha... She got sales conference to attend in the day and gala dinner after tat... She really funny lor, came back to office, then told me: "我给你2个选择 - 1) 去gala dinner, 2) 去join 你们吃dinner..." Huh? Why am I the one to choose, Ms Quek? I'm not going with you woh... Anyway, I told her: "随便你lor, 你要去dinner, 就去lor..." She immediately reacted, saying " 你看! 我就知道你喜欢gossip!" Wah liew! 我很无辜woh... In the end, when I told her to join us for dinner lor, she told me she decided to go liao, hopped on a cab and dumped me at the roadside... Poor me! Why got this kinda fren? Haha...

Boarded a bus to AMK... Miting Ms Chia at our fave hangout... Ms Hui wanna joined us initially but changed her mind later on... Well, she said she gotta studied for her exams lah, so let her off this time round lor... Hehe... Have barely starting my dinner, Ms Quek called up liao... She said she reached too early, and told me to kip her company... Haha... Ard 5-10mins later, she decided to hang up the phone, coz she cant stand me for enjoying my dinner while chatting with her... Hehe... Ms Chia & I chit-chat all the way thru dinner... She updated on her 校工cum reception work, while I updated her on my situation... Headed to dessert shop next door after dinner... Then mit up with Ms Lee to head for karaoke...

The 隔音设备 at Kbox was damn bad lor... It's either tat or the group next door sang too loudly liao... Coz we can hear very clearly wat they are singing lor... So we oso 不甘示弱地选了几首快歌来跟他们拼了! Haha... Ms Quek joined us after her dinner... However, she left ard 1 hr later, coz she got 3rd round to go... Ard 2am, the remaining 3 of us decided to head home liao... We told Ms Lee to get prepared for next Friday... Think we would be dead drunk next Friday lor... Haha... 我有点担心lor! Coz it sounds really 恐怖lor! Haha... But think it should be equally fun as well bah...

Friday Nite Movie & Saturday Trip

As usual, yesterday was really hell day for us... Bookings kip flowing in... My email are packed with unread mails... Sighz... But we get to leave office 15mins earlier! Haha... Tat's a little pleasing to our ears lor, though it's only 15mins earlier lah...

Well, we, the airtime S & M Dept were going to Vivocity for dinner & a movie... Nothing great abt the food lah... Yellow rice, fishball, tofu, chicken curry, fried dumplings... Not really tat nice but ok lah, since it's free... Haha... The show to watch is called "The Bucket List"... Kinda regret to watch the show lor... Most of the commercials advertised are under my agencies lor... Suay! When the show had juz begun, I was quite shocked to find out that there's no subtitles at all lor... Sianz lor... I texted these words to Ms Quek who was sitting rite next to me "No subtitles ah? My ang moh no good woh!" Yes, my ang moh really aint tat excellent lor... I gotta admit tat some of the parts I really couldn't catch anything lor... Sighz! Watch movie oso stressed...

Oya, forgot to mention this! Before the show started, we got a mini lucky draw lor... Ms Quek & Ms Hui were hoping tat they would win the 1st prize - a Sony Ericsson handphone... In the end, Ms Quek din get the phone, Ms Hui din get the phone, I din get the phone... It's Mr T who won the phone lor... Haha... I told Ms Quek :"Call him on Monday and ask him how much he want to sell the phone lor..." Hehe...

Din really enjoy the movie... Halfway thru the show, I went to the ladies... Met Ms Hui who was putting on make-up lor... Then she said she wanna deposit some money... Then I told her I wanna withdraw money as well so I sneaked in to get my wallet... However, I forgot to bring my movie stub out... So I sneaked back again to get a movie stub... In in out out... I think I already get most of the attention liao... Haha... Well, Ms Hui & I were kinda lucky lor... We sneaked in back to the theatre again juz before the show ended... Haha...

After the movie, the few of us decided to go to St James Power Station... Actually had it all arranged a week ago liao... Ms Chia mit us at Viviocity, then we headed down together... Hehe... My first visit there but dun think will be my last... Got lotsa pubs/clubs watever you called tat lah... After much discussion, we decided to go to a quieter one, so that we can talk... The place was quite ok initially... However, at the strike of twelve, the music started to blast at their loudest lor... And the few of us started to shout at the top of voice juz in order to talk to one another lor... Shout until hoarse/ no voice/ throat pain... Haha...

Slept at 3 in the morning, woke up at 9.30am today... Was thinking lor: got no appt today, so can take a nap later in the noon... Unfortunately for me, 我的如意算盘打得太响亮了! Ms Quek 一通电话来, 改变了我整天的计划lor... She got a wedding to attend in the morning.. She said she would be free in the noon and asked whether I wanna mit her for sushi lunch later... Dunno wat I'm thinking lor, I actually agreed to mit her! Mit her for sushi, then later went to IMM again... Haha.. Yes, Daiso again... This time round, she bought 6 items! I still maintained my 4 items... Haha... We had our vacation location changed again lor... So she got some extra bucks to spend... Hehe... Actually I dunno why she buy so many boxes woh... Buy those boxes for wat huh, Ms Quek?

Another day to rest before started to 冲刺 again on Monday... Sighz... Was actually mentioning to Ms Quek tat I felt like going back to do my bookings today... She said it's not a good sign lor... I agree! But I juz cant help to think lor...

Friday, Saturday

Ms Quek, Ms Hui & me met up with Ms Chia on Friday to have dinner... Hehe... Aww... Miz the good old days where the few of us would gossip and complain among ourselves during lunch time... Unavoidably, we would complain of our work to Ms Chia... Ms Chia would oso in turn complain abt her 半退休work... Haha... We all agreed that our working environment is too fast-paced whereas hers is too S-L-O-W... Hehe... And yes, of coz.. After dinner, we headed to the next door dessert shop... It's our routine liao... Haha... But I really love the 楊枝金露 there.... Oh yes, I did tell them abt my plans if we did manage to get our chalet... Haha...

Met up with Ms Quek yesterday as well... Kinda last min thingy... She was on her way to school to submit her assignment... Then on her way, she smsed me to ask whether I wanna mit her at IMM anot... Haha... Me? I was lazing in my bed lah... Hehe... (hey, I need to replenish my sleep mah... My dark rings and eyebags are getting more and more obvious liao... Sighz...) After much decision, I decided to mit her up lah but I told her I nid time to do my stuff 1st and I need to take a shower 1st... So can only mit up 2hrs later... Hehe... So ard 1.5hrs later, I landed myself in IMM again... Went to Cafe Cartel to have dinner... We ordered the well-known Pork Ribs there and the Must Try Chicken Wings... Both dun taste nice... The dun-nid-to-pay-bread taste nicer as accordingly to Ms Quek... Sighz... As usual, the pictures are decieving...

Sighz... It's a big headache to go out with Ms Quek... Coz she will tell me this cannot buy, tat cannot buy... She will say 'NO' to this and 'NO' to that... Haha... Yes, she's restricting me to spend money... We've planned to go on holidays so she said must save! Cannot anyhow buy... Sighz... Well, she did manage to try to put her words into action lah when we're at Daiso... Haha... From the last visit of 9 items, she reduced to only 3 items... I still maintained at 4 items... Hehe... (Yes, she instructed me to pen this down, coz she said I bad-mouthed abt her the other time... Did I? Hehe...)

Will be quite busy in May if we go according to our plans... Our work will be getting busier by then as well coz the Mid-Year Package is running soon... 加油啊!
