Back to work today after 3 days off... Not that I wanted to go on leave lah... Need to clear leave mah... I was kinda worried that I would be flooded with work lor... But heng heng, I can leave at the usual time... Hurhur...

Busy with work as usual... My filings are piling up liao... I really nid to do my filings liao... I got no new boxes to place my completed works liao...

Flu virus is pretty popular recently... Almost everyone in my dept caught the trend... Tat's bad!! Even Uncle Heng oso caught the bug lah... Hurhur... Boss Huan oso caught the bug... Hahaha... He sounded really terrible... I did tell him to see a doc soon and dun spread the virus back to us... Hehe... Unfortunately, my cough is still here... =( Nasty cough!! Refused to leave me alone! Tsk tsk tsk...

Oh ya, before I forget, my final birthday gift for this year!! I received a Juicy Couture pouch!! Woohoo!!! Another item to add to my Juicy Couture stuff... Hurhur... Aiming for another item pretty soon... Hehe... A wallet maybe, though I havent really eye anything yet... Thanks muchie for the gift, XH and PL... =)

Complicated feelings seem to subside abit, but still lingers there... Think i think too much, too wide, too many liao... The tots will perish soon, I hope...

Birthday Celebration Part III

Think I had abit too much of b-day celebration this yr... Hahaha...

Let's see:
- Celebration at Dbl O on 24Apr with my colleagues-cum-frenz;
- Birthday dinner at Bottle Tree Village on 26Apr with my family;
- Birthday lunch at Swensen on 27Apr with my colleagues-cum-frenz;
- Went JB with Quek and she bought a slice of cake on 28Apr;
- Mom bought a cake on 28Apr, but I came back late so I left a msg for her to say I will cut the cake with her on 29Apr;
- Birthday dinner with Boss Huan (and dunno who else) on 30Apr;
- Lunch/ dinner with my buddies on dunno which day (Cant confirmed the date yet)

Abit 誇張 lor... Hahaha... I had 3 cakes and an Earthquake ice-cream (at Swensen) as a cake this year... Hehe... And I got gifts as well... Hurhur... Think almost everyone knows tat I absolutely love Baby Pooh, tat's why some of them especially bought Baby Poohs for me... So sweet of them... =) I got earrings, necklaces, a knitted bag, and a Agnes B accessory... Honestly, nothing beats the sweet msgs tat they wrote to me... Aaawww.... Love those gifts, love those celebrations, love those birthday wishes!! At least I truly know tat they care and I'm being loved! Isn't tat sweet?!

Quek, Hui, Ms Wu and Boss Huan bought the Agnes B accessory for me... I know it's really a 奢侈品 lor... Can imagine how much the gift is lor... I got gifts today as well... =) It's so nice of Ms Puck to especially knit a bag (I think it's kinda toiletries bag. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong.) for me... She especially knitted some pink flowers on the plain white bag lor... Haha... So sweet of her ya?! Ms Liao and Ms Tan bought me a pair of earrings... The note tat they scribbled is funny lor... I really cant help but laugh out when I saw the note... And Ms Liao even indicated my age lor... Tsk tsk tsk... Pls dun do this in future hor, Ms Liao... Hurhur...

I wanna said sth abt the birthday dinner with Boss Huan... Haha... Well, he said he's giving me a treat coz he went on his flight trip last Fri mah... Then he said can call others along... I asked Quek and Boss Ee... Both of them rejected me lor... Tsk tsk tsk... Then I told Boss Huan lor: the moment I said dinner with you, they rejected me liao... Hahaha... Yes, I like to suan him alot!

And Quek, I really appreciate all the thingy u did for me... The celebration at Dbl O, the birthday lunch treat at Swensen, the Agnes B gift, the slice of cake at Secret Recipe, and not forgetting the accompaniment on the actual day itself for nearly 12hrs... =) I really am touched! 真心話 lah !!

Birthday Celebration Part II

Juz finished watching Star Awards... Watching the Star Awards Post Celebration thingy on Ch U now... So bo liao leh... The Celebration doesnt really impress me leh... Ermz, the 得奖人 are kinda expected lor... Abit disappointed tat Kym Ng din win though... Haiz~~~ Hehe... Think I will switch off the TV soon liao... Hurhur..

Went to Metro with Mom today... Metro is having a 52nd anniversary sale... Hurhur... Mom kip asking me whether I wanna go anot... Was thinking why not... Ermz, I din buy anything for myself lah... But I bought a Bonia bag for Mom... I told her the bag was her Mother's Day gift liao... Hurhur... Hey hey hey, the bag not cheap lor... Cost $200 plus after discount lor... Then went TS to buy discs lor... I got 20% discount since it's my birthday month... Hehe...

Mom tot of a dinner at a nearby restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Hehe... Bro suggested Bottle Tree Village Seafood Restaurant at Sembawang... Never been there before so why not?! Hehe... A nice place leh! Like the place but kinda inconvenient to go there if there's no transport lor... Ordered 5 dishes and 1 soup... I like the soup! It's really tasty!!! I dun mind going there again lah... Hehe... No worries peeps! I will upload the photos later lah... I still got Taiwan photos yet to upload leh... =)

Work for a day tmr before taking Birthday leave... Hahaha... It seems like I'm not wkin very actively in April leh... Kip taking leave - Annual leave to go on holiday and birthday, forced leave and medical leave... Think wont be taking as much leave in May bah... Hahaha...

Birthday Celebration

Yes, my birthday is coming soon... So my super nice colleagues specially arranged for a Pre-Birthday Celebration for me last nite... =)

We kicked off for dinner first. Met up with Ms Wu and Quek for dinner at Raffles City... Both of them were late lor... Tsk tsk tsk... Cant really decide wat to eat... In the end, we ended up at Lulu Restaurant (think it's the sister company of Street Cafe lah coz they shared the same beverage menu)... Ms Wu kip saying, kip emphasizing tat Lulu is her good fren lor... Cant tahan her lah... She wore so demure last nite, which was really very unlike her lor... Hahaha... Dinner was okie lah... It doesnt really taste tat fantastic, does it?! Or maybe I was pretty worried on wat they gonna do?! Haha...

We shopped ard Raffles City coz kinda early lah before heading off to Dbl O... The 3 of us were the earliest there lor... Mr Ee came shortly after... Then Ms Tham came with 3 of her frenz... Her first time joining us... Hurhur... But she's okie lah... She can easily mixed ard with us lor coz she's ultra friendly lor... Hehe... Quite surprisingly, Old Man Chan oso came... Haha... Well, he had cut down on his partying times with us mah, so how would I know he would turn up woh... Hehe...

I nearly wanna faint lor when I heard wat Ms Tham ordered lor... 20 shots of Tequila neat! Wah liew! Juz started only, dun nid so high bah! Gluped down 1 shot by 1 shot... Seriously, I really miscount how many shots I gluped down lor... Dun think it's really tat much bah... 10?! More or less bah, really cant recall... Dun worry ppl, cant recall doesnt equal to I'm drunk, okie?! I was kinda high but still sober lor... Hurhur... I still can remember wat happened lor... =p But I admit I got a very bad headache lah... Till now, the headache is still hanging ard lor... Tsk tsk tsk... And like wat every drunken said (though I'm not a drunken last nite), I dun want to touch alcohol again!!! Hahaha... At least not this mth anymore lah... Haha...

It's really very nice of my colleagues to celebrate my birthday with me lor... Yes, I know tat Quek especially told Mr Ee to buy a cake for me... Yes, I know tat Mr Ee especially went to hunt for a mini size cake for me... Yes, I know tat Old Man Chan was damn tired but still dragged himself to come. Yup yup yup, I know I know... I'm really touched, I'm really 感动... =) I kinda felt like I'm celebrating my 18yrs old birthday only... Haha...

However, someone went T4 as well lor - Pilot Huan... Again!!! Tsk tsk tsk... Countless of times tat he fly kite liao lor... Think I shld fire him from being my boss... Haha... Photos are/ will be uploaded in FB by Ms Tham and Quek... =)

Random

Everything was peace and quiet... No stir-ups... Nothing... My agencies are damn quiet as well... Kaoz!!! Cant they juz sent some bookings in?! Okie, some of them did lah... But pls lah, those simple packages cant last me for an hour mah... Haiz~~~ Can they juz dump some bookings in my email?! Let me feel tat I'm paid for wat I'm doing mah... Haha... And yes, i'm a hard-to-please person... Hehe...

Quek is on leave for tomorrow and Monday... Her b-day is on this coming Sun... Quek, seriously, I dunno wat to get you for your b-day lor... Not only you lah, I dunno wat to get for the rest of them as well... Haiz~~~ Anyway, enjoy ur leave, ur chalet and ur b-day... And rem to lim until toh hor... Haha... =p

And once again, I dozed off while scrubbing my pet in Pet Society yesterday... Hahaha... This is the n times liao lor... =p Think history will repeat itself again today... I'm juz so tired leh... And ya, I dun sleep at 10pm anymore... Haha... I sleep at ard 11 liao... Still considered early for some of you out there but considered late for me liao lor... Hehe...

Dinner

Yesterday was my grandpa's b-day... Aunt had arranged a birthday dinner especially for the occasion... Sighz... Every year abt the same lah... Dun really like to go there, coz my grandma 重男轻女 lah., which really pissed me off lor... Wanna buy a gift for grandpa initially but really dunno wat suits him best lor, so the idea dropped off later...

Took a ride from Ms Lee... Hehe... I told her "Everyday U go home alone, today I kip you company for a while lah..." Haha... Cant rem wat we were chatting abt initially but the topic soon dragged to applying for HDB flat or wat... I told Ms Lee tat one of my buddies, Ms Chan, actually mentioned tat I might be the first one to get married among the 3 of us (Ms Chan, Ms Lim & me)... Hehe... I remembered I told her I might not be getting married leh, then might nid to apply for my own flat at the age of 35... Haha... 没办法啦... 你喜欢的未必喜欢你... 你不喜欢的可能就喜欢你... 缘分这种东西很难说的嘛... Sighz... So, the search is still in progress... Is/ Will/ Can he be the one?

Hehe... 离题了... Surprisingly, I reached there at ard 6.40pm... And yes, I'm the first silly to arrive tat early... Grandpa and grandma were kinda surprised lor, and kip asking how come I arrived tat early... Sighz... If I know tat I'm the first silly to arrive tat early, I would have take my own sweet time liao lor... Dinner commenced at ard 7.45pm when everyone arrived... Dead tired and hungry by then... 9 道菜 lasted till 10pm or so... Food was quite nice lah... Like the shark fins' soup and the steamed soon hock best... The fish is damn fresh lor... Delicious... Dun really like to eat fish lah coz got lotsa bones lah... Haha... But this one is exceptional... Hehe...

Another dinner coming up on this Sat with my buddies... It's been quite sometimes since I last met them... Will update if there's anything interesting happening lah... :)

My Day...

Yup! Today is my day of the year... It's my birthday... Not exactly happy coz turning yet another day old liao... Hehe...

Nope... No plans, no plans at all! Or shld I say, I only plan not to work on tat day... This is my usual practice... Hehe... Except for this year, I only took 1 day leave... Think for the past few years, I would take at least 3 days... Hehe... Which is why some of my frenz would say: "你生日要从初一庆祝到十五啊?" Haha...

Birthday is bad, especially when you got all sorts of discount cards... Well, especially when those discount cards state that you'll have extra discount on your birthday lor... Tat's wat I did today lor - spend money, spend money, spend money... Sighz... Nobody is there to stop me lor coz I go shopping alone! (Harlow! Who would wanna take leave to celebrate with me? Everybody needs to work lor!) Anyway, I shop ard at Causeway Point only lah... Too lazy to travel down to Orchard lah... Hehe... Yeah, bought a quite no. of thingy... :( Think I have overspent this mth liao...

Of coz in betweens, I received birthday wishes from you guys out there... Thanks alot! Ms Quek even wrote "Hope tat u can say wat u wanna say..." Haha... I oso hope so... I juz hope my fear does not exist... Sighz...

Going back to work tomorrow liao... Think a day is too short liao... Next year, I want to take 3 days liao... Haha... And btw, juz curious, any of your birthday wishes ever come true huh? Tell me it does pls, though I got some kind of feelings tat mine is gonna be a flop again... Pls gimme some hope lah...

Early Celebration

Got my 1st b-day gift yest from Ms Foo, my 师傅... Hehe... It's a pair of earrings... The kinda tat I would like... Think I ought to buy another earrings stand liao... My current one is full liao and my earrings are still coming in... Hehe...

Went out for dinner with my colleagues after tat... They actually planned an early b-day celebration with me.. Haha... Kinda touched... Though the cake really gave way liao, I know, it's the tots tat counts... :)

We went to our fave hangout in AMK - Suki Sushi... Ms Quek lor... Kip saying she wanna eat potatoes (Referring to the fried potato)... And almost every week, we'll go there without fail... While waiting for our seats, Ms Chia arrived with a 'Pxlxr' logo plastic bag... (Tat's when the cake already gave way liao...)

After dinner, after much discussion, we decided to head to K-Box... Ms Hui is really very the entertaining lor... 一下子又说不会唱歌, 一下子又说生病不可以唱歌, 一下子又hog住mic唱个不停... Ms Chia 就变成她可怜的PA, 要不断地插播其他歌曲, 让Ms Hui 有休息的机会... 而且还要很有技巧性的插播不同调的歌woh... 不可以都放慢歌, 不然我们的chairman - Ms Hui 会complain... 也不可以都放快歌, 不然chairman 也会不满... Sighz... 难为Ms Chia 了... Haha... Ms Quek 呢? 叫我们陪她唱, 她却把mic 拿得远远的让坐在对面陪唱的我连听都听不到... 最后, 她竟然说: "我是在帮你合音!" *Faint*

Halfway thru the session, these 3 frenz of mine decided to present the cake to me lor... They insisted to light all the candles... Telling me to 面对现实lor... =_="' Our dear PA, Ms Chia 插播 a birthday song but 没有原唱的lor... So she 插播yet another birthday song - the cantonese version one... Wah liew! After hearing this song, I really felt like I'm abt 50yrs old liao... 福如东海, 寿比南山... Wat ya think? Think the person who enjoy this song most is Ms Hui lor... Despite her runny nose, she kip reciting those 5 lines lor... I dunno whether to cry or laugh out loud lor... I cut the cake and yet again they insisted tat I nid to eat a big slice of the cake before they will present me with another gift... 抗议无效, 反对无用, 我就勉勉强强地把那一大片蛋糕嗑掉了... Tat's when they present me with my taste of gift - Paul Smith Rose... Haha... Wooo.... Was actually planning to get Ms Lim to purchase for me lor... Now the purchase can put on hold first liao... Hehe...

Ms Chia, Ms Hui, Ms Lee & Ms Quek (as according to alphabetical order), thank you so much! I really love this gift! Thanks for the accompaniment, the cake and everything...

And Ms Hui, no, I'll not give you the miniature one lor! I still wanna use it lor! Haha...

New Colleagues' Birthdays

Was another busy working day... Was another busy Friday... However, ard 3pm or so, all of us managed to squeeze some time out to celebrate the birthdays of thos who are born in this mth... There's 3 of them actually... Tell ya the dates but omit out the years lah... Haha... 1st one is 9th, 2nd one is 15th, and 3rd one is 18th... The fella whose birthday falls on the 9th is gonna celebrate by going to Bangkok woh... So envy, can go holidays! According to her lah, her wedding anniversary and her 1st date with her hubby oso falls on her birthday... WoW! Lucky guy lah! Only nid to rem 1 date and only nid to buy 1 BIG gift... Haha...

My boss especially went out for lunch to get a cake for them... The cake is ok lah... Mango cake... I love mango but mango cake is ok only lah... Anyway, the cake is from Four Leaves... Not really tat yummylicious lah... But oso not tat awful taste lah... BUT, I still prefer cheese cake lah... Haha...

Aw.. I burnt one of my fingernails when I'm trying to light the candles... TMD! Tot I smell a kinda plastic smell from my burnt fingernail... No choice lah, gotta trim away the burnt part... But luckily, it's only a small corner...

Boring lah! Not much work to do in the office... Kip on reading novels to pass my time lor... I've finished 2 novels on Wednesday... Another 2 on Thursday... Read until I want to sleep liao lah.... *YAWN*

Me: U are the 'n' person who ask me what i want for my birthday liao... Frankly speaking, I dunno... Juz dun give mugs, glasses, cups, wallets, photo frames, photo albums, food and beverages..

Ms B Ong: No problem .... so simple wahahaha

When she handed me the gift yest, I'd asked her wat is it? She replied " 1 of those u written on your list lor!"

I really felt like 1) Slapping my forehead, 2)Throw the present back to her when I heard tat woh! Apparently, she din see the word "dun" lor! No wonder she said "No problem, So simple" when my other frenz said "Wah liew! Hard to buy woh!"

Nevertheless, I'm considered an ok-mannered person (Note tat I said ok-mannered and not good-mannered hor!). Before our departure, I'd told her "Thank you for your gift hor. Though I'm not happy with your gift, still gotta thank you lah..." (It's only show how frank and straight-forward I am woh... Hehe...)

If there's a next time, I'll definitely wrote down my wish list to her! I'll state there clearly:

My Birthday Gifts...

Next Sat is my day liao woh... Why comes so fast? *Shake head* I haven done anything much this year woh... And it's coming to May liao!!!

Actually I do like my Date of Birth alot... To me, it's kinda easy to rem oso... 28th April... It's like the 2 times of Valentine's Day (14th February)... Dun get it? Let me explain:

14 X 2 = 28
2 X 2 = 4

Understand now? Figure tat out urself hor, if u still dun get it... Hehe...

Frenz and colleagues of mine have been asking me wat do I want for birthday gifts... Seriously, I dun have a single clue on my mind woh... Ermz, instead of telling U guys wat I want, can I tell u all wat I dun want leh?

My I-dun-wan-these-items-for-my-birthday list

1) Mugs, glasses, cups (watever u called tat) - I've got at least 15 of these thingy at home... Excuse me, I've only got 1 mouth lor... Need so many mugs, glasses, cups for wat? I dun use them for plants oso lor!

2) Photo frames, photo albums - I've got these thingy hiding in 1 corner of my room lor... I've got no time to tidy these thingy up! Moreover, nowadays, I seldom print out these kinda photos liao lor... Everything is in my PC...

3) Wallets/ purses - I've juz bought a new Sembonia wallet (it's a purse if u insist) on March at the OG preview sale... So I certainly dun need another new wallet (purse)...

4) Food - I'm fat but tat doesn't mean I like to eat alot lah! I know a nice decent meal can be heaven some times... But too much of heaven will be very sick oso woh... And I can simply put on weight by breathing more fresh air, so dun really nid to stuff my face among food...

Ok lah.. Will update again if I can think of any... Hehe...

My Mom's Birthday

Today is my Mom's Birthday...

Every year, I would buy the gift 1st and collect payment from my siblings... Things like bags, wallet (or do U called tat purse?), tops, diamond pendant, flowers are some of the gifts that we would buy for her... And of coz, not forgetting a birthday cake...

For this year, initially I tot of buying a gift for her as well... However, juz 2 weeks before her birthday, my mom specifically told me not to buy any thingy for her... She said she had everything and dun need anything... Initially, I tot of buying her a gift secretly... However, on 2nd tots, I tot of saving up the sum of money and bring her overseas on either September or October instead... Hehe... So ended up, I din buy any gift for her... I juz wished her a "Happy Birthday"... Hehe... And I have further decided not to buy any gifts for her on Mother's Day liao... I've decided to save up the sum of money as well... Haha...

Today is oso Mom's off day... Initially her off days are on every Tuesday... But her company juz changed their management... The new management suggested every to off on Sunday with effect from 1st April... So Mom, heng heng, dun nid to work on her birthday lor... Hehe... Anyway, she cooked up an expensive dish today "Buddha Jumps Over The Wall"... And it's such a big pot!!! Think would cost hundreds, nearing to thousands bucks for tat pot! (Paiseh ah... Forget to take picture before tucking in lah... Slurps up till the very last drop liao... ) It's really yummylicious but your mouth will feel kinda dry afterwards... Muz drink lotsa water...

My Birthday...

My birthday is coming soon... (Sigh... Getting older liao... Abt to step into late twenties liao... ) Still got 1 month and 3 days to go before I reached 26yrs old...

Hmm.... For this year, think I dun nid any celebration lah... Normally, I will take long leave on birthday lah... Starting from the eve till 2nd may.. Hahaha... (I know it's abit 夸张 but I got leave mah... Cannot take long leave on birthdays ah? Cannot dun work on birthdays ah?) But this year, my birthday falls on a Saturday, so I oso dun nid to take leave liao... Yeah!! (Can save my leave to go on vacation liao... )

I know it's abit early to talk abt birthday wishes but one of my birthday wish for this year is to save up enuff money to bring my folks for vacation... Hoping to bring them to either Shanghai, Taipei or Hong Kong... Nope, no Korea liao... No Australia oso (Coz Australia too ex lah... Hehe...) Think I shld go only on September... I shld be able to save the sum of money by then... (Think shld be enuff for us...) So, ppl out there, dun ask me out unnecessary!!! I got NO MONEY hor!!! Hehe... And you guys can consider to give me cash angpows instead of other thingy for my birthday gifts... I would greatly appreciate tat... Muahaha...
