Tax Clearance

Juz made a call to IRAS with regards to Tax Clearance for 1 of my staff... Not sure abt the procedure mah... So gotta call up to make sure lor... Then gotta write down the steps somewhere mah... So tot of my blog lor... Hehe...

Well, the story goes: One of my staff resigned last month... However, she had worked more than 60 days and less than than 183 days for last year... Hence, she kena tax 15% of her income lor... But if she managed to find a job within 2 months, she can claim back this sum of money lah... So we informed her abt this... So she started searching for a job... However, in less than 1 month, she returned to my company to work... (Why resigned in the 1st place leh? I oso dunno woh... Extra work for all of us... *Slap forehead*) So now, she wanna claimed back the money lor...

Here's the step lah: Was informed by the guy at IRAS tat for claiming back the sum of money, she needs to work for at least 183 days for this year. Then after 183 days, she can write in to request for a Tax Assessment Revise... In her letter, she gotta state her current Company, her Date of Commencement... Her current company gotta produce a letter stating tat she had worked in this company from when till when... (Luckily, I've got the format or else need to figure out wat to write again...) With these 'evidence', the IRAS will then proceed with her claims (Or do u call tat as refunds? *Scratch Head*) Hope I din miss out anything...

So all in all, cant do anything at the moment lah... Gotta wait till October liao... Who knows? October I might not be wkin here liao... Hehe...

Crazy Fans

Have you read the newspapers today? The entertainment news lah...

The headings read: 要华仔和女儿见面 追星女父亲跳海... This daughter is a crazy fan of Andy Lau... She loves Andy Lau so much... Her dad pampered her like mad! He gave her money to 追星 lor... Then gave until he gotta sold his house lor... Then still not enuff woh... He oso sold his kidney to support his daughter's action lor... (Really wanna faint liao) Then sold his kidney still not enuff lah, now still want to kill himself! In the end, really died lah... Created a big stir in the Chinese Entertainment industry lor...

So overall, who's fault lah? The dad's fault? The daughter's fault? Andy Lau's fault? Or the society's fault? 大家心中都有至少一个偶像嘛! 若每个人都像这位疯狂粉丝一样, 或像这位父亲一样, 这世界不是大乱了? I oso have idol that I fancy mah... (Hehe... U know who lah...) But I dun go to the extent lor... Please know your own limits lah... 拜托! 这样追星, 金山银山都会倒啦!

Life Is So Fragile

Came to realise tat life is actually so terribly fragile...

Taiwanese artiste, 許瑋倫, passed away in a car accident... She was only 28... She was pronounced dead ard 7.37pm... Her heart stopped beating on 5.09pm... They tried to revive her for the past 2 hours... But it was of no use... Sad... Really sad... 她就这样走完她短短的28年的旅途了... 走的很突然, 非常突然... 突然到让人无法接受...

I'm really upset... 我好难过啊! I'm not a fan of hers... I dun watch her show... Come to think of it, I dun even know/ remember which show she did star in... But I was really disturbed by her sudden passed away... (Dun ask me why.. I oso dunno why) Everyone was happily preparing for CNY... Then this pc of news juz dropped down and turned everyone's mood into gloomy days... Sigh...

人生真的是喜怒无常... 生命是脆弱的... 我们应该珍惜身边所有的人...

MRT Incident

Another case of MRT Incident... (Sigh... Shake head)

Was going to work today... Saw alotsa people queuing at the taxi stand when I'm in the bus, approaching the MRT station... Was actually thinking to myself at tat time: "Wow, these people had gotten their bonuses liao har? So rich to take taxi now!"

When I reached the MRT control station, was terribly shocked to see the announcement: Train disrupted! No trains travelling from Sembawang to Yio Chu Kang! Wah liew!! What happened? Why no train early in the morning, especially during peak hours? At tat pt, was actually thinking of taking leave (Haha!!! I dun have a lotsa leave but when this thingy occur hor, very sianz to do all those transport transfer woh...) I actually called one of my colleagues to inform her abt this incident... Then was telling her I wanna take leave leh... But then, before I can tell her I dun want to go to work today, the SMRT officer came out and told the whole lot of us to ignore the message... So I very LL boarded the train to go to work...

On my way to work, before approaching Yio Chu Kang, my hp rang... My dad called... He heard the news of the train disruption over the radio... I asked him what happened... He said tat someone do the 'U jump, I jump' thingy again... At Sembawang... I was like "Huh? Early in the morn? Peak hours somemore?" *Faint*

Wah liew! Is this kinda disease or wat? Y those commit suicide wanna choose the MRT method to die leh? Still dunno the reason why tat fella wanna jump lah... Dun even know male or female yet... Only heard tat he/she died on the spot lor... Think the newspapers will published bah... Pls dun have a next round leh... Pls dun choose peak hours leh... Pls do fencing for all MRT boarding points lah! Pls install more CCTV lah! & MOST IMPORTANTLY, PLEASE DUN JUMP!! Y choose such a terrible way to die? *Shake head* Sigh... Pls do think of the consequences leh! Pls do think abt your family & frenz leh...

News Highlight

Juz heard from my dad... Was rather surprised tat GST will be readjusted again next year... Up to 7% liao... (Told U I seldom read news liao mah...) Alamak! Increase GST again... Sigh... Why GST kip increasing and pay never keep increasing leh? Why my pay still remains the same? Shld ask my boss with regards to this hor... He sure give lotsa excuses one lah... So ask oredi oso equal never ask lah... Juz hope tat I will get the increment by end of this yr lor... Hopefully so...

Btw, if U dunno wat does GST means, it means Goods & Service Tax.
