Sunburnt

Yes, sunburnt coz we forgot to apply sunscreen. Yes, now i know that we shld nv understimate the power of the sun. Little sun rays are also powerful and strong to cost us sunburn!

Search over the net on how to treat sunburnt. Din really try them all lah (Hello, there're more than 10 methods lor. How can i possibly try out every single one?) Really impressed and amazed on some of the products use lor.. Juz to name a few: -

  1. Wear loose-fitting cotton clothing that will not irritate the affected areas. No worries abt that. I dun like to wear tight-fitting clothes.. Hehe..

  2. Use a cool, damp cloth with skim milk and rest it on the burned spots. Will it be better if i juz soak myself in a bathtub full of milk? =p

  3. Drink water, juice, or sports drinks to replace body fluids. Yes, dehydrated! I kept feeling that my lips are kinda dry. Hv been drinking lotsa water to replenish the loss...

  4. Bathe with tepid water and avoid soap on the affected area, which can cause irritation. Hmm, what is tepid water ah?

  5. You can also try taking a bath with green tea. Does it mean that i can drink and bath at the same time? Drink green tea, bath with green tea. So green...

  6. Use the succulent aloe vera plant. I almost bought the aloe vera! But my dad said will be kinda sticky after applying and I dropped the idea.

  7. You can make a paste from baking soda and a little bit of water and put it on the sunburnt area. Oh! So baking soda can be used for other purposes as well...

  8. Use olive oil. Was told that olive oil will prevent the skin from peeling. Hmm... Can i apply on my face as well? Will I look very oily?

  9. Stay out of the sun until the burn fades. Ya, been trying my very best to avoid the sun le..

  10. If the burn is very recent (still red and not peeling), use a tomato. Tomato juice is acidic but it doesn't hurt and helps the redness. I did try this method but once only. Tomato juice actually helps to lessen the itchiness and pain.

  11. Try aloe vera gel to soothe a sunburn. It may help ease the sting. I forgot all abt my aloe vera gel! I bought it last time during my Penang trip!

  12. Above all, the next time you are in the sun, wear sunscreen! I surely hope that I've learned my lesson le.
