My Company Dinner & Dance

Last nite is my company's Dinner & Dance...

I was, unfortuantely, one of the organisers... Gotta ask gifts and money from suppliers... Gotta do the Lucky Draw thingy... Gotta do namelist tabulations... Gotta do some cutting and pasting... Gotta do gifts check... I'm really sianz lah...

Went to the Marina Square outlet at around 4pm... I was there from 4pm till 1.25am lor... Was really dead tired then... Heard news that they will be hiring a KJ for our D & D. All of us tot tat the KJ will host our D & D... But we are wrong lor, 大错特错! The KJ is only in-charge of the music and the provision of songs lor... Further sianz... Which stupid bloody fella suggested to hire KJ huh? Wat for we need KJ when we got our own music equipments leh?

In the end, I was FORCED to be one of the hosts! I was dumbstruck... I was reluctant... There's a manager who will be in charge of the Chinese version... I was supposed to be in charge of the English version... But.. But... BUT! My angmoh sucks leh... My pronouniciation very bad leh.. Then I will stammer... Tak boleh lah! But I really got little choice lah... 硬着头皮上! I know my performance was not good but I came unprepared leh... I almost wanna beat someone up liao! I felt 多余woh... Sigh.. Sianz lah... Luckily for me, My Assistant General Manager came and lend a helping hand... I'm so grateful! If not for him hor, I think I would be dead over there... Haha... In the end, I only helped to draw... Haha... Most of the lucky draw winners' lots are drawn by me... Haha...

Nod nod! I did win something... I was so paiseh when I draw my own name... Hehe... I won a $100 Marina Square vouchers... Keke... (Personally, I think my Marina Square vouchers are much better than the Eu Yan Sang vouchers and the Heeren Vouchers and the other electrical products lah... But of coz, cash is the best lah... But I dun have leh...)

Anyway, our D & D lasted till ard 1.15am... We paid the KJ till 1am... Additional hour = more money... Still think it's a waste to hire the KJ! After the D & D, I shared cab with a manager (We both lived in almost the same area lah)... Before I alighted from the cab, I asked the manager how much do I need to pay him... He said: Dun Nid... Haha... I was abit paiseh lah... But I did thanked him several times woh... Hehe...

We were allowed to come to work 2 hours late for today... So I slept my way till 9am... But I still not enuff sleep leh.. Still very the tired... Sigh... Think I getting old liao... Cannot stayed awake too late... I need lotsa sleep to recover after tat...
