Skin Irritation

Dammit! My finger got skin irritaion again... Sighz...

Was planning to buy a silver ring for myself as a consolation/ as a birthday gift lately... Was shopping with Ms Quek at IMM and was hunting for a ring as well... I only tried on several rings mah... Haven even buy any of them and I got skin irriation... Sianz...

Ya ya, it's not the 1st time liao... Watever kinda rings I wore, be it gold or silver, I would get the allergy lor... So sad! Cant wear any rings...

Friday Nite Movie & Saturday Trip

As usual, yesterday was really hell day for us... Bookings kip flowing in... My email are packed with unread mails... Sighz... But we get to leave office 15mins earlier! Haha... Tat's a little pleasing to our ears lor, though it's only 15mins earlier lah...

Well, we, the airtime S & M Dept were going to Vivocity for dinner & a movie... Nothing great abt the food lah... Yellow rice, fishball, tofu, chicken curry, fried dumplings... Not really tat nice but ok lah, since it's free... Haha... The show to watch is called "The Bucket List"... Kinda regret to watch the show lor... Most of the commercials advertised are under my agencies lor... Suay! When the show had juz begun, I was quite shocked to find out that there's no subtitles at all lor... Sianz lor... I texted these words to Ms Quek who was sitting rite next to me "No subtitles ah? My ang moh no good woh!" Yes, my ang moh really aint tat excellent lor... I gotta admit tat some of the parts I really couldn't catch anything lor... Sighz! Watch movie oso stressed...

Oya, forgot to mention this! Before the show started, we got a mini lucky draw lor... Ms Quek & Ms Hui were hoping tat they would win the 1st prize - a Sony Ericsson handphone... In the end, Ms Quek din get the phone, Ms Hui din get the phone, I din get the phone... It's Mr T who won the phone lor... Haha... I told Ms Quek :"Call him on Monday and ask him how much he want to sell the phone lor..." Hehe...

Din really enjoy the movie... Halfway thru the show, I went to the ladies... Met Ms Hui who was putting on make-up lor... Then she said she wanna deposit some money... Then I told her I wanna withdraw money as well so I sneaked in to get my wallet... However, I forgot to bring my movie stub out... So I sneaked back again to get a movie stub... In in out out... I think I already get most of the attention liao... Haha... Well, Ms Hui & I were kinda lucky lor... We sneaked in back to the theatre again juz before the show ended... Haha...

After the movie, the few of us decided to go to St James Power Station... Actually had it all arranged a week ago liao... Ms Chia mit us at Viviocity, then we headed down together... Hehe... My first visit there but dun think will be my last... Got lotsa pubs/clubs watever you called tat lah... After much discussion, we decided to go to a quieter one, so that we can talk... The place was quite ok initially... However, at the strike of twelve, the music started to blast at their loudest lor... And the few of us started to shout at the top of voice juz in order to talk to one another lor... Shout until hoarse/ no voice/ throat pain... Haha...

Slept at 3 in the morning, woke up at 9.30am today... Was thinking lor: got no appt today, so can take a nap later in the noon... Unfortunately for me, 我的如意算盘打得太响亮了! Ms Quek 一通电话来, 改变了我整天的计划lor... She got a wedding to attend in the morning.. She said she would be free in the noon and asked whether I wanna mit her for sushi lunch later... Dunno wat I'm thinking lor, I actually agreed to mit her! Mit her for sushi, then later went to IMM again... Haha.. Yes, Daiso again... This time round, she bought 6 items! I still maintained my 4 items... Haha... We had our vacation location changed again lor... So she got some extra bucks to spend... Hehe... Actually I dunno why she buy so many boxes woh... Buy those boxes for wat huh, Ms Quek?

Another day to rest before started to 冲刺 again on Monday... Sighz... Was actually mentioning to Ms Quek tat I felt like going back to do my bookings today... She said it's not a good sign lor... I agree! But I juz cant help to think lor...

Today is kinda unbelievable lor... I was the last one to leave the office... Well, I've got no choice lor... Bookings kip coming in... Amendments kip rushing in... Pre-emption emails kip receiving... Bookings half done, bookings undone, bookings waiting for approvals, bookings waiting for credit extensions, bookings to revert, listings to be printed... My work is really piling up... Sianz... Though I did not stay until real late lah, nobody will believe tat I'm actually the very last one to leave lor... Even I find it kinda hard to believe lor...

The other fastfood advertiser rushed in for their campaign as well... Sighz... MC not key in as well lor... Felt like calling Mr T lor but I know it's kinda hopeless to call him lor... He will use the “拖”政策lor... He'll begin his grandpa's stories lor, which I got no ample time to listen lor... So, why called him then? Sighz...

Not happy today... 一起床就不太开心了。。。这种不开心的情绪就一路延续下去。。。

Feeling rather stressed up with works nowadays... 我真的以为、认为他们会帮我们做arrangement on switching agencies lor... But it seems like everybody think tat I can handle well... Everybody had the stupid concept/ thinking: since she can still leave at 6pm sharp = she's not busy = she's still can take in more agencies... Wat kinda farking thinking is this? Do I really have to work till 10pm everyday to prove tat I'm really busy? To me, I wont stay for OT unnecessary, especially when there's no OT pay at all... Disappointment, anger, sadness were written all over my face when I learnt the fact tat there wont be any reshuffling of agencies for me... Not in the next 2 mths at least... 2 months... I cant even imagine whether will I still be around by then... Nobody understands how I feel...

说真的，这份工是不难做的。。。All you have to do is to book in the commercials... Nothing difficult to book in commercials mah... It's not the process of booking commercials tat makes u stressed up lor... It's the before and after... Before you booked in the commercials, you gotta chased agencies for booking instructions, clients' endorsements, chased your finance for credit extension, chased the salesperson for approvals... 在没拿到这些之前，你什么也不可以做 lor... 时间、精神都花在这些。。。等这些都拿到了，要book 的时候才发现没有airtime 了。。。勉勉强强帮忙挤进了，他们什么也没说。。。收到reports 后，才来埋怨你没有给他们好一点的airtime... Complain to salesperson, salesperson in turn will turn and ask you: Why like this? 为什么他们自己本身就没好好想想是谁的错在先？谁send in last min booking 的？谁迟迟不去拿approval 的？谁啊？Airtime 是一大把，只是看大爺们本身几时高兴send in lor... 你迟send in, 别人早send in, 你还好意思来埋怨我？

我累了，真的累了。。。累的想放下、放弃所有的一切。。。 累的不想再走下去。。。累的想逃避。。。或者我该大哭一场，然后继续走下去？

Today, Mr T gimme 1 of the approvals tat he owed me liao... Still got another 1 lor... Dunno is it my English/Chinese really tat bad or 他的理解能力差呢, I gotta repeated the same question 3-4 times lor before he 正面回答我... Conversation as below:

Me: 还有另一个呢? MC 拿回来了吗?

Mr T: 回来了, 要等我的老板看完...

Me: 几时key in (to system)?

Mr T: 我老板看完, 才可以给老板的老板签...

Me: 几时key in (to system)?

Mr T: 老板的老板签好后, 才可以给pricing...

Mr T: (笑笑) 我会催我老板, 应该是这一两天啦...

Wah liew! Wat is this? 他以为他不正面回答我就会放过他? 想都别想啦! So not keying tomorrow yet lor? Spots gonna run on Thurs woh... Mr T, 别玩我, 可以吗? 我只是个可怜的打工仔woh...

Today really busy lah... Toiletries advertiser sent in bookings again lor... Different brands lah... Then dear Ms Y haven get the approval (yes, we required tons of approvals), how to proceed? Then foodstuff advertiser sent in their bookings as well... Under different brands as well... Sighz lah... Then Mr French (though he's nice, he's quite 烦人lor) called up saying tat the beer advertiser claimed their bills aint correct... Requested him to email me the invoices and he told me: "My finance said tat your finance shld have the invoices. So pls get the invoices from ur finance." Wah liew! Then another foodstuff advertiser called up to ask why she got 2 spots appear in 1 CB? Wah liew! I really can hardly breath lor... Kip booking, kip answering phone calls, kip checking on past bookings... Initially, I intended to stay for a while to finish up my bookings... But was getting kinda pek chek liao... So decided to pack up and juz left at 6... Sighz... May is approaching which will be double or even triple worse than today lor... Sianz lah!

After today, I'm really kinda lost liao... 迷失了... 我的工作内容到底是什么? Booking done by me... Checking of invoices = part of my job? Checking of 2 same commercials appearing in 1 CB = part of my job? Chasing for credit extension = part of my job? Chasing for approvals = part of my job?
为什么我们的工作内容再不断地扩大?

还有3天要挨... 我能熬的过吗? 我不知道...

S-Pop Concert

No, no Mr T's topic today, though he owe me 2 approvals which are supposed to due tomorrow... Haha... I had little choice but to trust him lor... Sighz... Nevermind abt tat for now... Topic for today is last nite's event - S-Pop Concert...

Went for the event last evening... (Yes, ppl... I got the tix... Haha... 一票難求? I got 5 tix lor... 你認為難求嗎?) Well, the concert lasted for 3.5 hours lor... Of coz, there's tons of commercial breaks in between lor... Nothing much impresses me lor... Well, my seat was kinda far away lor... Then the stage was like so tiny to me lor... But luckily, (haha...) my uncle brought along his binoculars... So I kip using his binoculars... Muahahaha... Ya, I know lah... Abit the 誇張 lah... But hey, it really is useful lor... Tried my utter best to shoot some photos lor but everyone is like so tiny and u cant really tell who is who lor... And the best shoot is only the S-Pop Logo lor... Haha... Coz big enuff mah...

I like 蕭敬騰 performance best... Though he really quiet lah, he really can sing well lor... Impressive! Before he came out to perform, the 暖场 guy intro saying tat next will be 蕭敬騰, then blah blah blah... Then mentioned tat 蕭亞軒 will be coming out soon... Then juz before the show started again, he actually said "我們現在來歡迎"蕭敬軒" Wahahaha!!! I was like laughing my head off lor! So shld we present Mr Hsiao or Ms Hsiao? Ya, tat's the only part tat tickles me... The rest are like kinda lame especially Mr Moo's part...

Left the show at 10.30pm lor... Coz need to work the following day mah... Well, nothing much was missed lor... Between 10.30pm to 11.00pm, Ms Chia was sms-ing me, updating me on the show progress lor (Thanks, Ms Chia!)... And yes, I'm really glad tat we left early coz really nothing much impressive lor... Why let Jonathan Lee 壓軸 leh? Dun understand... After Jonathan Lee's performance was the result show lor... After the result show was the closing speech... After closing speech, you can get out of the stadium liao... So did I miss anything during this half hour? Dun think so bah...

Today is a real hectic day for us... Both Ms Foo & Ms Wong went on leave... Together, hand-in-hand to Hong Kong... (Envy... I oso want holiday!) Tat's left our boss... Haha... Think nobody dare to mess up with her... Hehe... But tat's not the main point.. Early closure is the main thingy lor... Was rushing the bookings like hell lor... The bookings kip coming in lor... Really sianz...

Mr T's beauty advertiser send in booking for bonus spots lor... So I very reluctantly called him lor... Then I asked him when u going to gimme the approval. He very 爽快的 tell me: today lor... I was like thinking to myself: Today? U so sure? Haha... Anyway, he din managed to get the approval lah coz daddy (our big boss) not in lah... Hehe... Besides this, I called him one more time again for another approval... Yes, Ms Chia, you are rite! The fastfood advertiser started to take action again... But the MC not in yet... But they want to use their EBB, SB and FB... Sighz... And very suay for Mr T lor, Mr H will be on leave for this whole week and next week lor... Haha... Mr T bo bian gotta take over for the time being lor... And again, he tell me he will get the approval... And me got no choice lor but to wait for him lor... Have to do follow up on Monday...

There's one thing which really makes my blood boils lor... This stupid, idiotic Ch18 salesperson... Really angry with tat arsehole... He gave the agency a Ch18 schedule... Agency emailed me the schedule wanted to book... I gotta assist them to book the bonus spots... Tried to stick as strictly to the schedule as possible but pls lor, Ch18 changes their programs like nobody's business lor... Called the agency to tell them abt the changes... Agency in turn tell that arsehole tat his schedule is not up-to-date lor... Tat arsehole, in the end, emailed me to tell me to kip him in the loop when communicating with the agency...

Arsehole, I CALLED the agency, not emailed hor! How to kip you in the loop? U wan me to do a conference call the next time? 我要通知你又要通知agency, 那我不是很忙? 多几个像你这样的王X旦来烦我, 我不是不用做东西了? And more importantly, I was told to liaise with the agency when reverting bookings, not salesperson! It's your farking problem tat the schedule you gave is incorrect lor! If I tell you about the changes, would you tell the agency? YOU WILL NOT LOR! Tat's the problem last time lor! I tell you the no. of spots for the bundles are incorrect. You tell me it's ok lor.. Then in the end leh, the agency complained abt you, you in turn, called my boss to say tat I din inform you on the changes lor... Then kip telling me to print listing for you, you think I'm your PA ah? I dun nid to do other thingy ah?

At least, compared with the arsehole, Mr T & Mr H are better lor...

Today is very busy lor... Our bookings kip coming in... 做完一个另一个又来, 东西好像一直做不完的感觉... Sighz... 也好啦, 暂时忘却一些不该想的东西... Aiyo, initially got early closure for Thurs, but at ard 5pm, Ms Wong announced tat the early closure would be postponed to the following day, 10am... Wah kaoz... 害我一直打给别人, 叫他们快点send in bookings, 害我东西赶到半死... Argh!!!

Ever since I take over M agency, Mr T had been a 'regular customer' in my blog liao... Haha... Have been chasing Mr T for the approval since yesterday... Well, this time round, he's slightly better lah... Coz only asked for 2 days, then he got the approval liao... Last time hor, I chased for 1 whole week, still no sight of the approval lor...

But then, I really very worried tat he would drop an unwelcome news to me woh... He got 1 advertiser, initially was under one of my agencies. But now, the advertiser want to set up their own agency. But their agency not accredited woh... So this Mr T juggled the bookings between my agencies and direct booking lor... If the direct booking cannot, he would tell the advertiser to go thru my agency and this normally spells last min bookings lor... To make things worse now, the advertiser is buying sponsorship lor... Coming in as direct booking... Then direct booking need to get payment upfront lor. Wah kaoz! Now still dun want to collect $$$ woh... I very very worried tat he would suddenly throw the booking to me woh...

Sweat! 我跟他八字相冲啊? 为什么每次要丢烂摊子给我? 大家都要我跟他建立好关系... At the rate he's going hor, no 好关系 liao lor! Was telling 1 of my colleagues this: if one day, I suddenly disappeared from work (dun think crooked hor! I mean resigned lah), he would be the cause of it lor... Hehe...

Friday, Saturday

Ms Quek, Ms Hui & me met up with Ms Chia on Friday to have dinner... Hehe... Aww... Miz the good old days where the few of us would gossip and complain among ourselves during lunch time... Unavoidably, we would complain of our work to Ms Chia... Ms Chia would oso in turn complain abt her 半退休work... Haha... We all agreed that our working environment is too fast-paced whereas hers is too S-L-O-W... Hehe... And yes, of coz.. After dinner, we headed to the next door dessert shop... It's our routine liao... Haha... But I really love the 楊枝金露 there.... Oh yes, I did tell them abt my plans if we did manage to get our chalet... Haha...

Met up with Ms Quek yesterday as well... Kinda last min thingy... She was on her way to school to submit her assignment... Then on her way, she smsed me to ask whether I wanna mit her at IMM anot... Haha... Me? I was lazing in my bed lah... Hehe... (hey, I need to replenish my sleep mah... My dark rings and eyebags are getting more and more obvious liao... Sighz...) After much decision, I decided to mit her up lah but I told her I nid time to do my stuff 1st and I need to take a shower 1st... So can only mit up 2hrs later... Hehe... So ard 1.5hrs later, I landed myself in IMM again... Went to Cafe Cartel to have dinner... We ordered the well-known Pork Ribs there and the Must Try Chicken Wings... Both dun taste nice... The dun-nid-to-pay-bread taste nicer as accordingly to Ms Quek... Sighz... As usual, the pictures are decieving...

Sighz... It's a big headache to go out with Ms Quek... Coz she will tell me this cannot buy, tat cannot buy... She will say 'NO' to this and 'NO' to that... Haha... Yes, she's restricting me to spend money... We've planned to go on holidays so she said must save! Cannot anyhow buy... Sighz... Well, she did manage to try to put her words into action lah when we're at Daiso... Haha... From the last visit of 9 items, she reduced to only 3 items... I still maintained at 4 items... Hehe... (Yes, she instructed me to pen this down, coz she said I bad-mouthed abt her the other time... Did I? Hehe...)

Will be quite busy in May if we go according to our plans... Our work will be getting busier by then as well coz the Mid-Year Package is running soon... 加油啊!

這幾天的天氣都不太好喔! 一直下雨...

Well, as usual... I'm still busy with work... Still busy with my ipod... In case you are wondering what I'm doing with my ipod, let me fill you in...

First, I'm trying to key in the song names to Chinese wordings... Then I sorted them out using Hanyu Pinyin... Then I'm trying to find the album covers, the lyrics, the year the albums released... Then recently, (though I know it's crazy) I'm trying to key in the song names to Chinese wordings again, but this time round, in Chinese Traditional wordings... Haha... Excuse muah, it doesn't sound as easy as what you think hor, especially when U got 4-digits figure songs... Yes, I know the word that you going to say - Serve You Right! 对啦! 都是我自找的! 不做到已经做了嘛! 不可能要我现在放弃嘛!

These few days are quite ok... As usual lah, Friday busy like hell lor (Tat's why we called it 'Hell Day' for Friday) Bank advertiser stepped in to join in the 'fun', planning to run 2 campaigns... Foodstuff advertiser 'heard' liao, coincidentally oso want to chip in lor, oso want to run 2 campaigns... Haha... Then another toiletries advertiser oso joined in... Then just today, the contact lenses advertiser oso joined in... Why everybody like to gang up together huh? But luckily, still can cope lah... I still switched off my PC at 6pm... Muahaha... I really hope tat I can maintain this..

No news from fastfood advertiser yet leh... Kinda worried tat they will send in at the eleventh hour leh... Asked Mr H whether had they signed the MC liao... He said Mr T is the midst of discussing leh... Wah kaoz! Tot Ms Chia mentioned before tat Mr T said tat this account is under Mr H and he dun wanna harp into it? So wat's now?

Speaking of Mr T, these few days, he very 乖... Din call up or whatsoever... To us, no news from them is Great News for us... And dunno whether is it he suay or I suay lor, I've got several advertisers accounts under him lor... Fastfood advertiser lah, shopping mall advertiser lah, beauty advertiser lah... And dunno why hor, everytime 绕了一大圈, it will fall back to either him or me lor... Wah kaoz again... But dun think my line will be like helpline to him lor... Unlike Ms Chia who very the 有礼貌的应酬他, I will not 应酬他 if it's not under my accounts lor... Haha... Yes, people... U got it absolutely rite! Tat is called unfriendly service to them... But do you think I care? Hehe...

Work Woes Again...

Think these few days I kip complaining about work woes... Hehe... Cant help lah... Frankly speaking, I dun like to work lor... (Think most of us dun like to work...) C'mon lah... We work for the sake of Vitamin M only lor... Who wanna work for free? Who wanna work OT for pleasure? Maybe you, but certainly not me lor... Hehe...

Another 抱怨... Remember my last entry I mentioned that the toiletries advertiser booked last min spots? Well, one of the M agency staff told me that I helped her to book the 1st week campaign and she will book the rest herself (via our online system)... And silly me, I believed her lor! Since Monday, I kip checking to see whether had they booked the rest already and the answer is a big NO lor... Juz today, she called up again, telling me to help her book the weekend spots... 我承认我的火有点被点着了... But then, 这都是命啦! Wat can I do? I cannot tell them I dun want to book for them mah... So 在怎么不爽, 还是得帮她 book lor... Sighz...

The one tat really and nearly makes my blood boiled is the same silly salesperson I mentioned in last entry lor... She hor! I really felt like scolding her lor! Agency wants her to revise bonus spots schedule... She took her own sweet time lor and only throw back to us at the eleventh hour lor... Agency wants to revise 3 different duration schedule to only 2 different duration schedule. (!&#)(&%* Tell me to book 1st lor! Then in the end leh! Tell me to change this, change that... WTH!


Then that Mr T called up to ask abt the hourly deal thingy... Wah liew! Asked me how many spots are there from this time to this time, and how many spots are there from tat time to tat time... I told him hold on, I check 1st...

Mr T: U dunno meh?

Me: I never done before. How would I know?

Mr T: The recent one not you do one meh?

Me: No lah!

Pls lah... Gimme some time to check lah... U think I computer ah? U key in keywords, then I can respond within split seconds ah? I only take over for 2 weeks woh... And the best part is: I havent even started to do bookings for this advertiser lor... Think I better dun talk to him too often... Almost everytime I talked/ discussed with him hor, 我的火气就会不知不觉地被点着...
