Yes people... I got free tix for movies again... Haha... Got tix for this movie yesterday... Gala premiere... So managed to see Jack Neo, Fann Wong, Mark Lee, Richard Low and the other casts...The plot: "Ah Long Pte Ltd" is a light-hearted black comedy about the triad world and the money-lending business. Following the retirement of her triad leader (Richard Low), a young lady, Li Hua (Fann Wong), tries to restructure her money-lending triad into a professional and 'loving' triad that stands against the use of violence. She also suffers a nagging mother and gets involved in a romance with Mr Fang (Mark Lee), an effeminate dance instructor cum image stylist. (courtesy of sg.yahoo.com)
To me, the show is so-so only lah... Some of the parts are so bo liao lor... Especially towards the last few scenes... C'mon lah... 黑帮老大斗不过几个年青人? Who will believe tat? 故事的最后告诉我们, 做Ah Long 还是会做牢的, 就算是剧中的华姐也不例外... Other than tat, I cant think of any liao... It's not boring, it's not draggy.. It's juz 1 of those show where you go into the cinema, laugh laugh laugh, then come out and dunno wat the show is abt...
And I dun have bad impressions or watever with Jack Neo lah... Saw the negative reviews from some of the users lor... I cant say tat I'm angry or happy or watever but this thought suddenly flashed thru my mind: "一个人能拍出几部卖座的电影, 也确实了不起了... 若你觉得你自己比他厉害, 你来拍lor... 看有多少人去捧场..."
